The Polynesian is tropical resort hotel with over 4 acres of outdoor water activities. All surrounded by a large assortment of palm trees, exotic plants, and colorful gardens. 38,000 sq ft. of indoor water parks with over 80 interactive water features. The Polynesian is Americas Original Indoor Waterpark Resort. Our Outdoor water park is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Indoor water park is open every day from Memorial Day to Labor Day with limited hours of operation after Labor Day. The sauna, pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub will be available everyday of the week. Credit Card is charged at time of booking. Double Queen Sofa-Rate is based on 4 persons. Maximum number of persons allowed in the room is 7. Any additional person in the room will be charged 15.00 USD plus tax per night. Children 10 & UNDER NOW STAY FREE!!! Double Queen - Rate is based on 4 persons. Maximum number of persons allowed in the room is 5. Any additional person in the room will be charged 15.00 USD plus tax per night. Children 10 & UNDER NOW STAY FREE. Single King Sofa-Rate is based on 2 persons. Maximum number of persons allowed in the room is 4. Any additional person in the room will be charged 15.00 USD plus tax per night. Children 10 & UNDER NOW STAY FREE. All rooms are non-Smoking.

Not worth the money

Large outdoor waterpark was great on the first day, the second & third day the water was very dirty. The lifeguards were very rude. The help at the front desk was very friendly. The room was very dirty, the carpet had stains all over, the coffee pot in our room had old coffee in it, the bathroom smelled & was very dirty. We would never stay here again. It was a waste of money, next time we will stay at the kalahari or chula vista.

Great value Prefect location and awesome service

Everything was great from begining to end. You can see the Polynesian right off I90 easy to get to!! It's right at the start of the strip with plenty of parking. Our room was ground level facing poolside. It was great to walk to the room and use your private washroom. When the kids were hungry or needed refreshments we just walked to the room and had lunch then back off to swim. Kids stay free if they are under 10. Just a perfect place for an extended weekend! The staff actually went out of thier way to help me change my tire on my Van. I never had to lower the anchored tire from the bottom of my van. One of the members took a hour after he was off to help me figure it out. Turns out there was a little hole to poke your rachet in to lower it. If I didn't change the tire I would have been stranded on 90 in one of the worst storms I had ever seen with my family.

Not Clean

The room had food under the chair, stains on the carpet, found a baby book on the floor. Fridge was so iced up it wouldn't keep cold, bed was hard as a rock, pillows were flat, No wifi in the rooms. could be a good hotel if they cleaned it up

Worth it!

I had a good weekend stay. The price was great because it was still off-season. Their WI-Fi only worked around the lobby area however, they said the fire-escape doors had a system that interfered with connection somehow and did not know when this would be fixed. I wish I had known that when I checked in.

Fun for everyone

The Polynesian was the perfect size for our family. We have 3 children (9,7,4). All three had a great time. The rooms were clean. It was not crowded at the waterpark. We never had to wait in line for the slides. The lifeguards were very attentive. The staff was helpful. We didn't like that the waterpark and the pool were so far apart. Also the maids came in before we had checked out. The soda machines only worked on the first floor. Also there was no free breakfast.

Love it

WE Love Polynesian we will go again everybody is great over there we just went and all the other places were so crawled i was waiting for Kalahari and wilderness for one hour and after that they told me that i still have to wait for the room i went to Polynesian because i already been there before and they got me the room right away love it can wait to go back

Made My Skin Crawl

Our room had food chunks & crumbs all over the carpet when we arrived. There was food mashed into the carpet and upholstery as well. The arms of the chairs were grease stained. When we told the staff about the lack of cleanliness they said they'd send a maid up for us to instruct on what to clean. That is totally unprofessional, and put us in an akward position. Instead we left a note for housekeeping in the morning (so we could put our kids to bed the night we got there), and other than a little bit more vacuuming nothing was done to address our concerns. We had to put sheets on the furniture and tell our kids to stay off of the floor. The room was disgusting, the entire building was poorly lit and dirty, and the water park area was run down. The only good thing was that the water park area was age appropriate for our young children. I do not recommend this resort unless you have an extremely low standard for cleanliness.

Couldn't get out fast enough!

This place is a dump. After arriving with the kids, the outside water was too cold, the elevator/hallways stunk, the rooms were not pleasing. After about an hour there, I demanded a refund that days stay, and the follow day we had reserved. It was all refunded except for 15 dollars. Ended up going to the Great Wolf for an overall lower cost. Don't waste your time/money/vacation on the Polynesian!

It could've been better.

Likes: Not too expenisve. Nice waterpark and they also have a pool area when you first walk in the hotel.Lots of things to do. Right off the highway so it was very easy to find. The room and hotel area was clean. Dislikes: Check-in was slow. Nobody cleaned up after themselves in the waterpark. Plastic cups, wrappers, etc lying on the tables and floor. Being respectful would be nice to the rest of us who likes a clean facility. Don't expect the staff to be at your beckon and call when it comes to cleaning up when your done. They work hard has it is. Too many teenagers. Very rowdy and pushy especially around the lazy river. Some children were getting pushed off their rafts and nobody said nothing to them. If you stay at the Polynesian Isle(cheaper version)which is accross the parking lot of the Polynesian, expect a loooong walk to the waterpark from there. Where's a skywalk when you need it especially in the winter or rain?? Would I return? Maybe. I have'nt really made that decision yet.

a good time

This was a good hotel if you were looking for a cheap, good time. I went with friends for a mini getaway, the people were pleasant and the pool was fun if you aren't into big waterslides. I suppose if you have children you might have more fun, because it is definitly gaged toward younger children.
