Days Inn Carlisle North, Carlisle

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for years while we attend the Carlisle Car Show. The place used to be dumpy, but it has come a long way! Just this year they painted all of the guest rooms, replaced all of the carpeting and put new mattresses, bed spreads and televisions in all of the rooms. They used to have a fitness area right when you walked into the main lobby. They moved the fitness area into it's own room upstairs and totally remodeled the main lobby! The new furniture, carpeting and huge, flat screen television makes the lobby look beautiful! They now offer a continental breakfast, which was something they never had. Now when I call to make my reservation, I am connected with the Sales Manager who sends me a confirmation letter in the mail, along with a brochure of the hotel and all of the Carlisle Car Show events. This is so helpful to my husband and I! I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming into the area.

This was the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed at. The maid was vacuuming infront of our room at 7:45 in the morning, banging into the door, waking us up. The first thing you see when you walk in is that the floors are soo stained in front of all the rooms. Seemed like every toilet in every room had flooded and all the water had come flowing out of the rooms and all over the hallways. It was soo disgusting. The ceiling tile in the bathroom were all brown stained. And they wouldn't give us a remote to the TV. So much for Relaxing there. It's just a gross hotel.
