Beachcomber Club and Spa, Negril

Beachcomberclub is the best small hotel we had ever stayed, the rooms are clean and hugh, we love the allinclusive the buffet food are great, if you want nice beach,nice and clean room go to Beachcomberclub in Negril.the staff are so Nice ask for Lilly she is the best and she is very beautiful,she alway make sure every one is doing good you dont have to asked for her you will see this love lady walking and saying good morning to every one and asking if they are ok

This place is horrible!!! The only good thing about it was the location to the beach. Our room had an air conditioner from the 50's, rattled and squeeked and sounded like it was going to fall off the wall at any time. Couldn't sleep because it was right above our heads and even had a magazine wedged behind trying to help the rattling. Horrible!!! Tub didn't drain, stood in 6 inches of water when taking shower. Bedside lamps didn't work. Had 2 of the flattest pillows I've ever seen. Didn't even have towels...we had to call front desk 3 times in 5 days to get bath towels. Ridiculous!!! Wood shutters in kitchen and bathoom didn't meet the sill, therefore allowing a 2 inch gap to let who knows what in. Friends said they saw rat in their kitchen with droppings to match! They also had a gecco in there. Their door didn't stay shut unless you locked it. No place to eat unless you went all inclusive and those who did were not happy with the buffet. There is absolutely no entertainment there. We had to go elsewhere to find anything to do in the evening. I could go on, but this is enough. Stay somewhere else if you want a decent place!!!!

I have read a lot of negative comments about this place,i think people are just unfare to the hotel are people who never been there before write bad things,we just leave the hotel after ati and we enjoyed our self the room was clean the staff was so friendly,the pool is one in a million.i will be back for the next ATi we love this hotel the rooms are hugh especially the Apartments which we stayed in we enjoyed our stay there you negative people should stay away from the siteMost of you never been to the beachcomber hotel before there is 24 hours security on site ,we always have our room open for our friend to go back and forth and we never had 1 problem.we love you beachcomber big up all the staff see you all next year 2010 ATI

I had read the negative comments prior to staying at Beachcomber but chose to ignore it as i thought it couldn't be that bad..... howverer IT WAS!!! The bathroom was dirty, bed linen stained, pillows stank, the staff was unfriendly and the owner had an attitude??? plz take my advice and go somewhere else!!!

We loved staying at the Beachcomber. We have been there twice and just booked the third trip there for this coming May. There will be 6 of us this time. It is quite lovely there and the service was always good. If you are expecting the "ritz" go to a brand new property. We were quite happy with the rooms, food, service,staff, drivers,etc. The location is great. Looking forward to this coming May. family from Illinois

We stayed at the Beachcomber on our first visit to Jamaica. We stayed in a suite, which had a full sized kitchen (including utensils & dishware), a washer & drier, a front & back entrance, and a patio with our own table and chairs. The staff was extremely friendly & accommodating, and the food and drinks were good and priced very reasonably. The pool was a little small, but we didn't care because we spent our time on the beach. Compared to all the other hotels I looked at, staying at the Beachcomber was a great deal and an even better experience. I don't recommend it to anyone who wants to do business, log on to the internet, or who is expecting a 7 star hotel. However, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy a lot of sun, romance, and country life! I would also recommend staying in a suite rather than a room because it has all the comforts of home. We will be returning this coming year!

Stayed here during mid March 2006, (spring break), what a mistake!! They cater to the breakers and pretty much leave the kids to do what they want, when they want. Incredibly overpriced (compared to our other caribbean experiences). Rooms, linens, curtains.....etc...dirty and worn out. Marguritaville next door with parties til 2 am. Beach was nice until around 11am when the kitchen and restaurant help would get into a gangster rap battle with the folks at margurativille to see who could play their rap music the loudest. I realize we made a mistake going during spring break, but do yourself a favor and stay away!!

Negril--In April 2006, we had a wonderful first visit to the island. Negril was private and full of exciting things to do and see. Beachcomber Club Inn was the ideal place to stay because it was very private and family oriented. The staff was friendly and very easy to deal with. The food they prepared was also very good. They were also very resourceful when we needed help. We plan on visiting Jamaica every year and we will always stay at Beachcomber Club Inn. There is definitely no place like home, but Beachcomber Club Inn comes very, very close!!

We spent our honeymoon here and the Beachcomber club was great. it had everything we wanted; super-friendly staff, big clean rooms, entertainment, good food. And it was loads cheaper than all the other places we looked at. As long as you don't expect the Ritz you will love this place. The beach out front is gourgeous! If i go back to jamaica we will definintely stay here again.

There were lizards and ants in the room, no working shower, room and bathroom was not cleaned well, had to request cleaning supplies to clean ourselves. Bedroom furniture and linen was old,Bathroom fixtures old and patched poorly. Doing the whole 5 day stay, housekeeping partically cleaned room once, recreational room had one old pool table with one pool stick without a tip and one ping pong table and the room itself did not have working air to be in July. To log on to the internet cost .75 cents per minute. The only thing that was agreeable was that the hotel staff was friendly.
