Raintrees Club Regina Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta

We stayed at the Westin this past trip and it was great! The service was quick,accurate and always with a smile. The restaurents were the best. Food was great. There are so many things to do that was recommended to us by the hotel staff and all the activities were fun! If you are looking for a great vacation with beautiful beach, great food and excellent service this is a place for you. When we go back the Westin will be my number 1 pick!

This place is absolutely AMAZING! The people there are really nice and there is plenty to do on the beach. The pool as a swim up bar (always a plus) and everywhere you look, there are green trees and beautiful flowers! I will be going back on my next vacation - no question about it!!

I've stayed in many resorts around the world along with many Westin hotels. The Westin Resort & Spa is certainly a good spot to stay and good value for the price, but did not blow me away. The rooms are nice and clean and the heavenly beds are always great. I found the room quite quiet - different than some of the other reviewers - it must have been the location of my room which was quite a ways from where the night club was. The pools were beautiful and great for families, but the beach was pretty sub-par. I always love swimming in the ocean, but didn't this time because the beach was pretty unappealing - very small and not clean. The restaurants were average, standard hotel fare and above average price, but again, standard for a resort hotel. We loved the location of the hotel which was very close walking distance to shops and many other restaurants on the Marina - was super not to be trapped at the hotel which is often the case with resort hotels. It was also super easy to catch a bus from the hotel to downtown if you are interested in nightlife and even more restaurants. The concierge staff was very helpful and always friendly. No internet access in the rooms, but it was avaiable in the lobby and business center.

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon in June of 2004. It was a PERFECT location near a neat marina. The marina was where we ate most of our meals, because they were a lot cheaper than the hotel and they were authentic! The room was very nice, except we had a leaky air conditioner that they had 2 repair 2 times during our stay. Other than that it was clean, and maintained well. The pools were AMAZING, and had lots of shade. The swim up bar was also a nice added touch to our relaxing stay.

I like that it is walking distance to the Marina and the pools are fantastic. The beach isn't as nice as ones farther from the marina. Food is very good and the architecture and hotel are beautiful. Very well maintained, they are always painting something.

Westin delivers. Regardless of location. Beautiful views, great food, great location, beautiful architecture, good service - I think that's what everyone appreciates about a hotel-stay, everything that Westin has - and for the price - it's unbeatable.

Nothing to dislike in Mexico. Food, drinks, golf, and great hotels. The beaches are clean and the pina coladas are fresh. Can't wait to return next year.

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were bright and clean. The bed really was fabulous. The restaurants are good; but we did have one bad experience with one of the themed buffet nights. Other than that the food was fine. The pool was great, and Nikki Beach was the highlight. Service was a little slow; there always seemed to be a line at the front desk. And food and drinks were pricey.

Everything was AWESOME! The people are friendly and they give you a great way to have fun in the hotel and out on the town.

we bought a timeshare 10 years ago next door to the Westin and have always loved the Westin Hotel and their restaurants. They closed one of our favorites, Garibaldi's and let a franchise move in, Nikki's beach. After looking at the prices before we sat down to dinner, we left immediately, We ate at their other restaurant EL palmador I think is the name instead and were very disappointed in the quality of the food. We gave it another chance one night because of heavy rain and again, the food was terrible. We were there for two weeks and would have eaten there more often if the food was better. I don't know how they keep a chef who serves such terrible meals. The Westin has their reputation to keep and at this rate, it won't. The restaurant was not crowded the 2 nights we were there even with the rain, so evidently other guests agree with us. The food at the pool bar was fair and used to be really good. I think they need a new food and beverage manager.
