things have changed at the Westin

we bought a timeshare 10 years ago next door to the Westin and have always loved the Westin Hotel and their restaurants. They closed one of our favorites, Garibaldi's and let a franchise move in, Nikki's beach. After looking at the prices before we sat down to dinner, we left immediately, We ate at their other restaurant EL palmador I think is the name instead and were very disappointed in the quality of the food. We gave it another chance one night because of heavy rain and again, the food was terrible.
We were there for two weeks and would have eaten there more often if the food was better. I don't know how they keep a chef who serves such terrible meals. The Westin has their reputation to keep and at this rate, it won't. The restaurant was not crowded the 2 nights we were there even with the rain, so evidently other guests agree with us. The food at the pool bar was fair and used to be really good. I think they need a new food and beverage manager.
