Resortquest Rentals at The Marquise, Whistler

I don't normally write reviews, but I figured I would try to help some folks out, since before going on this trip I read plenty of them. I rely a good amount on people's reviews and so I was a little worried about chosing the Marquise, since it had such mixed ones. However, I am very glad I chose this place. It was a great location, clean, updated kitchen, and pretty much perfect for my boyfriend and I. To get to the slopes, it's about a 2 minute walk (that's factoring in that we had to carry skis and I don't walk fast in ski boots). To get back home, their is a ski path that takes you literally across the street from the hotel. Plus, if you like to go out at night, and don't mind a bit of a longer walk, you can even walk from the main village, although if you leave by 1am, you can get back on the free shuttle. In adition to the great location, our room was perfect for 2 people. The bed was a super king, bathroom was nice and tidy, the tv had a good selection of channels, and the kitchen was well equiped, where we could cook dinners every night. The only thing we couldn't figure out was the thermostat for the electric fireplace. This place also had a hot tub and heated pool, if you like to relax after a tough day skiing or snowboarding. And there is parking, although it is $16/day, but since this unit was cheaper than most others that we found online, it was still a great deal. So, would I recommend this place, definetly!

Very convenient with good amenities, quiet and within walking distance of everything. Ideal slopeside location. I would highly recommend this as one of the premier properties for great value for money.

It was like a home away from home. The beds were so comfy it was like sleeoing on a cloud. The hotel was close to everything we needed just a few minutes walk away. The room contained a kitchenet which was very helpful considering the cost of food. Pool was very relxing loved the hot tub. mmmm relaxing
