Hometown Inn, Riverdale

Don't stay there..sheets are stained with brown stains,the carpet is also stained very badly....A fire broke out in one of the rooms probaly because someone was smoking you know what.......Room was filled with roaches I couldnt stay there 1 night... don't think about going there.

My stay here was not good the smell of the room was terriable and it was very dirty the bath tub was dirty and had old tissue paper under the matt in the tub,the sink would not drain the carpets was nasty ,the tub leaked .i ask the staff for an extra pillow and they said they couldnt give me one .you had to carry our dirty towels down to the lobby before you could get clean ones each day .and the staff was not friendley.

my family was in town for my daughter graduation so we had to be in town for a week, the front desk staff{ ashley & jalise} was very professional yes i would stay there again.

I like this place i looked at the reviews before going and still took a chance since it was close to airport and great price.I would recommend that people try it and not go by people personal likes and dislikes. The only negative i can say is restauraunts are not real close.

First of all - you get what you pay for. This hotel wasn't in the best area (Riverdale - College Park area), but it was close to the airport (4-5 miles away). It isn't the kinda place you wanna bring your family too. It was okay b/c I was by myself. It is a member of the Extended Stay Inn & Suites chain, but it's far worse than an actual Extended Stay. It wasn't clean, the "non-smoking" room had cigarette burns on the bedspread, and the room needed a renovation in general. Bring your own toiletries - all I was provided was 1 bar of soap and 2 sets of towels. There is a kitchenette, but the utensils looked like they'd been wiped clean - they had some serious streaks on them. In case you're not familiar with how these places work, they offer housekeeping once a week, but you can ask for more towels if needed. The ladies at the front desk were friendly & professional, and when I had questions they knew the answers. Between 11pm & 7am, the front desk is closed and there's a night watchman. I had no problems with security, but once again - I wouldn't recommend bringing your family. If there's a next time, I'm paying a little more and staying somewhere classier!

i believe the previous bad reviews were by rival motels.i have been entirely satisfied with the room service and the amenities provided(and there definitely were no bugs or roaches !!!).the pricing is very affordable and i would recommend these places to every person who looks for great living spaces for very affordable prices.

The managment is trying very hard to bring this location up to excellence. Every issue I have had the managment has corrected nicely and very quickly. I see security in the evenings walking around the property. It's not perfect (that would be home) but as a extended stay hotel, this site is trying very hard to keep my stay good and I assume they try this hard with all their residents.

The receptionist was very accomodating and pleasant. But the room was smelly, the appliances and furniture was old and needs updating. The lock on the door was difficult to lock. The corridors to the rooms were filthy. I would not recommend anyone straying there.
