The Surf Club, Marco Island

Needs updated...mold in the bathrooms and aunts in the kithchen. Pool & beach was nice...Don't think I would go back.....

We love the Surf Club. It was recently renovated and updated. Overall a great experience. The only minor inconvience was the lack of a washer and dryer in each unit, these are on the floors, near the elevators, and require coins to operate.

We have been visiting the Surf Club with our family for many years and its prime beachfront location next to the Hilton and four doors from the Marriott Resort is ideal. Restaurants and shopping and movie theatre are across the street. The spacious two bedroom condos with full kitchen are in an eight story 44 unit balconied pink building set among lush landscaping and clay tennis courts. The interiors were completely renewed and updated a year ago and are beautifully decorated. Leaving a highly stressed work environment to vacation at the Surf Club found me feeling "like a vegetable" after three days. Marco Island is truly paradise and the staff at the Surf Club welcomes us home every time we visit. We wish we could stay forever.

Except for the late night desk clerk who chases even senior citizens out of the hot tub after 9pm(that guy has gotta go) like they were children, this resort offers a sense of service and community that far surpases the rest on the island. My family has been going to this resort for over 20 years, and all of us love it.

It is just like being in Hawaii. My granddaughter will be making her first trip her and she is so excited. The Davis Family

Lots of reason why it's our favorite. 1. It's right on the beach. Perfect. 2. Rooms recently remodeled, all the same, 2 bedrooms ( one has a king and the other two twins), full kitchen, den with sleeper sofa, and view. 3. Pool and hot tub nice. 4. Shuffleboard, horseshoes, ping pong, recreation room for the kids, even a small library! 5. Tennis courts 6. It's a just the right size resort. It's not one of those huge mega complexes, it's just the right size for us. 7. Great value. 8. Service was excellent. 9. Saturday checkin and checkout works well for us.

The Surf Club of Marco Island is located on the best beach in Southwest Florida. It looks like a pink jewel situated on the center of front beach. The resort has just been completely renovated,with a beautiful olde Florida theme and very lush landscaping. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel like they are there just for you. There is security at the resort all night. You can walk into the gorgeous lobby anytime day or night and get free coffee and relax on the inviting furniture. There are structured activities for youg children some free and some at a nominal fee. Also there is an activity area for the teenagers, ie: Pool & ping pong tables. There are owners and guest events where you get complitary lunch and rum punch parties. The management and staff are well trained in customer service and make you feel at home

My husband and I own three weeks at Marco Surf Club and we love it. All rooms are "clean" well kept, full ammenities and a beautiful view of the ocean and the Surf Club always has activities that you and your family can sign up for. True Surf Club is not as "Fancy" as the condo's that run along side of it but if your looking for a fun filled vactation at resonable prices and a full beach view Surf Club is the place to go, or if you are just looking to spend a lot of money on somewhere fancy to lay your head and condo's that only give you a side angle view of the beach try one of the other condos. Surf Club is a great place rest your head and spend time if you looking at going easy on the pocket book. Surf Club is currently updating the entire building, can't wait to see it next year when we take our 1 year old son for the first time.

This is a wonderful place to stay on Marco Island. We will go back as often as possible. You can not go wrong by staying here. The Surf Club has recently been remodeled. A great place to relax, have fun and visit the attractions of south west Florida.

I love Marco Island! I go there every year. The surf club was wonderful. It is a little run down compared to what is around it. Although from what I hear they are trying their best to make it look better. Service is great, and I always go back to the surf club!
