Comfort Inn Ship Creek, Anchorage

Lots of issues. Toilets in many of the guest rooms not working, ran out of food and napkins in dining room for breakfast, wifi not working, has only one van keeps you waiting at airport for almost an hour....not able to handle the number of guests checking in and checking out...big daily turn over. People at front desk are helpful

Clean, well mantained, great staff, would visit again if I return to Anchorage. The breakfast was fine. Was an answer to prayer as we originally were going to stay at another motel which was poorly mantained.

It's nice and clean quiet in a good location of town. Able to get to other locations fast no troube. The service is great there is always someone smiling and asking if they can help you. That's great customer service.

Staff very helpful and gracious. They were able to accomodate us on short notice. Their staff was very helpful with hints and suggestions to ensure that our visit to Alaska was unforgettable. Location ideal for downtown restaurants and sightseeing. And - their evening chocolate chip cookies were delicious!

it is in a quiet place don't have to worry if people are to loud and right downtown great if you have children ANYTIME WE NEED A HOTEL WE GO HERE

It is a lot of hotel for the money. Very clean, courteous staff, good bed, nice breakfast and lots of amenities. Fast schutle to the airport. You will enjoy it.

When we first moved to Anchorage we stayed here while apartment hunting. They had rooms with kitchens and a friendly staff. It was in a great location and reasonably priced even in the summer months. We no longer live there, but will be staying at this hotel on our next visit in the spring.

what a trip and a long drive we were happy to reach the Comfort Inn we were tired traveler and the Inn gave us just that great rooms and service Will return someday but next time will fly!!

I am an Alaskan and this hotel is set near downtown yet off a hill and secluded enough to be quiet. Breakfast buffet is helpful, the hotel is clean with ample parking THe pool is very small yet cheery with sky windows and colorful kites suspended from above. Ask for a room on the top floor due to noisy children near the halls/pool Anchorage can be expensive and this hotel is one of the better deals overall.

Comfort Inn is located right on Ship Creek. There is a great "river" walk that cirlces around the creek with informative signs along the way. It's a little ways off the "main" road if you are looking to be right in the shopping district, you'll have to walk about a quarter mile up the hill. As we had a cat and a dog we were given a "pet" room. Compared to other pet rooms, this one was sparkling! The beds comfortable enough, extra pillows were provided. The continental breakfast was also tops! Included were: make your own belgian waffles, pastries, toasts (butter and jellies), muffins, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, juice of all kinds, coffee of course, and plenty of seating if you wanted to eat in the "dining" area (window views of Ship Creek). While we were in the middle of a military transfer, and not Anchorage tourists, Comfort Inn was not in our "ideal" area of town. As our area of interest was on the other side of town. Access to the road ways was very easy, plenty of parking. For the average tourist, mall shopping, fishing, and the train depot are very close by. Since the train runs regularly in the summer, be prepared for the extra "train" noise.
