Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Kuala Lumpur

This hotel, is beutiful. GReat staff and short distance to the shops. great swimming pool and resturant near by.

I LOVE THE SCENERY IN ISTANA HOTEL KUALA`LUMPUR,WITH ITS WONDERFUL SERVICE I CAN HARDLY BARE TO LEAVE THE HOTEL ITSELF. BUT OF COURSE THE RATE OF THE ROOMS CAN BE REDUCED AND CAN BE IMPROVED, BUT OVERALL IT HAS MET MY REQUIREMENTS. WELL DONE HOTEL ISTANA KUALA`LUMPUR. MALAYSIA,TRULY ASIA.

We spent two day in the hotel after a long trip to KL. The KLCC is in a walkable distance. The hotel is quite and clean. The lobby design is great. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay and the food in the hotel. I think it is good place for business as well.

Wow, i enjoyed staying in istana hotel. The room was clean, we had access to our own room safe. I stayed there with my cousin for 9 days, and we had no problem as far as we were concerned. For the toilet they installed a sliding door with no locking mechanism!, that was a big issue for both of us, as we had to set some toilet time rules!. Our room had a glories view of the twin towers, which was Fascinating in the evening Beside that the HSBC bank was near by, which was very favorable for us. Not to forget the shopping malls were in a short walking distance from our place. Finally, it were worth the money spent.

Beware if you plan to stay at Hotel Istana. When I had stayed there in Mid of May 2008, I found a couple of bedbugs (a kind of blood-eating insect) crawling on my bed sheet. I also found two cockroaches in my room; one on the minibar and another in the bathroom. So, if you don’t want to sleep with these insects, stay away from Hotel Istana!

We are a family of 4 from Australia, two kids 14 &11. We met up with my parents from Uk and had a week together. The hotel was lovely, really comfortable. The staff were so wonderful, they treated us like 5 star paying customers. I don't think you could be treated any better anywhere in the world. They always had a smile for us and were so polite, anything you asked for was there in a minute. Rooms were very clean, changed every day. Breakfast was wonderful, so much choice. Location fabulous for shopping. I can't praise this place enough, we all had a wonderful experience staying there. We will definately go again.!!

We stayed at this palatial hotel for a few nights and couldn't speak highly enough of it. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome. The staff always greeted you with a smile; they were so friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was lovely, very clean, very spacious bathroom with heaps of mirrors. Beautiful swimming pool. Great variety of food to choose from with live music in the evening. Very central to shopping complexes and only a 10 min walk to the twin towers. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting KL.

A wonderful hotel. Nice clean pool. Central location. Lovely Breakfast (So much Choice). Very helpful staff. We were on Honeymoon and were greated with flower garlands. Would stay again if I was ever back in this part of the world.

The old hotel which is being renovated recently but they allocate the rooms according to the budget you pay. If you pay more you get the renovated rooms. otherwise the rooms are normal. With in the walkable distance of Twin tower and good restaurents around.

Overall the hotel is magnificent,it feels like in a palace hence the name istana.The room is spacious..I like the clever placing of the mirrors in the room.The bathroom is spacious as well.The tv is too small for the size of the room.Room service is great..I will be back in the near future..
