Best Western Glendive Inn, Glendive

We were waited on by Danielle. She was very above board and treated us very nice and also professional. about midnight IU went to go to bed and after flipping open the bedspread, I found everything under that including the mattress, was totally wet with a about a 3 ft, wet stained. I called her on the phone, she was very apoligetic and said she would move us, since she didn't want us to go thru this at this time of night and the night custodian called in and wasn't sure what time he would be in. She came right down with a cart, since I have a breathing medical poroblem. I asked her before she left , that I really appreciated her going out of her way, if i was not entitled to some form of discount qand she said she would take care of that for us. When i went to turn the tv on in the new room, the remote had the batteries coming half out of it. i tried to make it work, but to no aval. I called back down and a new girl came on letting us know that her tittle tonight was night manager and she diddn't know ahat wshe was suppose to do about the remote. I told her about the room move. she stated she would swap around the remote finally, but if that did'nt work, she couldn't do anything about it. She stated that what else did i want, i had already gotten a new room. (only since the sheets were wet and put us thru moving all our stuff at midnight and she was not going to honor the additional discount, that Danielle said would be arranged. There also was lint, rubber bands from dental braces, etc all over the floor of the new room. she stated her housekeeping girls wouldn't leave something like that. Well they did. We had planned on and had paid for 2 more addiitional nights plus an additional room for my son. I will be cancelling those 2 rooms for the 2 days. A guest shouldn't have to put up with this, we are the customer. I was in business for over 25 yrs and always believed the customer was always right and you did not argue with them but work out a settlement to keep them happy and also as a customer. I will never stay or reccommend anybody else saying in this Inn!!! i rated one star because it wouldn't let me put o

The rooms are clean. However, we walked in the door which was covered with greasy fingerprints. The bathrooms in the basement were so bad I did not use them. They looked like they havent been cleaned for a year. Not an exaggeration. The carpet down there, I couldn't see a clean spot. There were cigarette burns everywhere. Some of the staff had greasy white coats on - cooks with greasy ball caps on. Very unproffessional. What I did like. The staff, everyone of them where courteous, helpful and very kind and chatty. I felt like inviting them over for coffee.
