Wonderful Location
By ,
This was our last stop of the "trip of a lifetime" for my 70 year old mother. There is nothing bad to say only good. The location was awesome, 1/2 block from Time Square and 1 1/2 blocks from nearest subway station. Staff was very attentive, helpful and pleasant! View was incredible and places to eat right next door or across the street. Highly recommend this for any traveler. Was well worth the money!

Awesome! I will stay again!
By ,
I give this hotel 5 stars! The staff was pleasant, the checkin & checkout were incredibly fast! The lobby was beautiful & the room was awesome! I had a king size bed with the wonderful view of the city. I would advise anyone looking for a hotel in downtown manhattan to go to Millenium Hilton. The breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. I have no complaints! Thumbs up!

racial profiling, careful
By ,
We stayed here for two nights in early July. The hotel was clean, the room was nice. We requested a room with a view and got one on the 31st floor. The hotel staff actually gave us a room early before the check-in time which was also very nice. The noise from WTC construction site was not that bad on the weekend. However, I had a serious concern when my wife and I came in around 12:30am and was asked to show our key card by the security. I showed him our key card asked if that was a policy and he said that it was. So, I asked what if I had a card from my previous stay and showed that. How would he know that I am not staying at the hotel? No answer. Fine, if it is a policy that should be applicable to everyone, but just then a caucasian couple walked by. The guard did not ask for his card. When I asked how come they went through without showing their card, then he went after them. Later spoke with the night manager, who was very rude and not at all apologetic, she said that he was just doing his job and if I did not like I could leave in the morning. Like I said the hotel service was great during the day but if you are not caucasian and trying to enter the hotel at night be prepared for some rude behavior.

Thrilling Stay With My Lovely Wife
By ,
I recently reserved a room at the Millenium for a romantic stay with my wife. This was the second week we decided to stay in Manhattan. We were both thrilled with our stay. The room was elegant, modern, and comfortable. Although we slept little, the bed was quite comfortable. We found the view tantilizing -- a wonderful backdrop to our candle lit surroundings. The plasma television was great as an alternative to our intense love making. When we did leave the room we were just a short ride to one of our favorite Greenwich Village restaurants. If you want to have a wonderful time, reserve a room, get the right candle, buy some ginger body rub, sensous body oil, and a bottle of champagne and do what comes naturally.

Going back in Dec. 2007
By ,
Although it's not right in the middle of all the action of the city, it's very easy to get anywhere and quickly,(most of the time). The Millenium staff is very helpful and friendly!

Don't check your luggage!
By ,
I left my luggage with the Conceigre and when I went to claim it, the Conceigre was closed so the bell guy gave me my luggage and cut my tags with a knife instead of a pair of scissors. He sliced my luggage with this knife and I never noticed till I got home due to the location of the slice. I reported it to the hotel manager, Miguel who then sent me to Security (Alberto Lozada) who then stated they viewed the video and that I was lying. I saw the utility knife myself, we had 6 pieces of luggage and only one was sliced. I was also told I cannot get a copy of the video. I have now turned this over to an attorney due to the value of the luggage. I would highly suggest to anyone not to stay here and check luggage.

Wonderful staff
By ,
The service I received by all the staff I encountered (doormen, bellhops, maids, front desk) was more like a small boutique hotel - very personal and very friendly. They seemed to truly appreciate the business. It was sort of eerie and disturbing to be so close to Ground Zero, but it felt right to be supporting this hotel and the other businesses in the area. Also, the rooms well-decorated and furnished. The only thing I didn't like was the walls are a bit thin - I could hear the rambunctious kids down the hall... but I would definitely stay here again.

I can't wait to go back

I loved everything about this hotel. The service was excellent. And it is such a beatiful hotel! The restaurant is really nice, the breaskfast is incredible. I probably don't like very much this gift shop which is in the lobby.

clearly a standard in business hotels
By ,
well my favorite thing about this hotel is the brunch...the restaurant 'church and dey' has a great buffet breakfast and tables have views of wtc...go with a friend and you'll be talking about one of the most significant points in american history the rooms...junior suites are the only way to go in this hotel...regular rooms just aren't good enough juniors have views of the financial district and city hall better beds and sofas along with amenities being a diamond card member is also a must...couldn't imagine not belonging to hilton honors in this hotel because you'll be losing out with a starbucks next to the hotel and a subway station as well this is a great place to meet business contacts and friends in lower manhattan
