Terrible, Weird, Bad Vibes
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/5/09
Who is the owner - I'd love to write him a letter? Stayed there last month - had booked for 3 nights. The first night they gave us a room that had obviously been used for some rough partying and had not been cleaned. Walls had blood or ketchup, bathroom was filthy, the couch looked and smelled like something they drug in off the street. This was supposed to be a 2 room suite with 2 TV's - weird, weird set-up, TV's didn't work. There was a huge 2 light (about 3 feet long) neon with no cover right above the TV for lighting. The curtains had ketchup or blood and smelled rotten. When I went to complain, the desk clerk blamed it on the cleaning crew. Well why would you sell a room that had obviously not been used or cleaned in such a long time. They were no other rooms available in Harrisonville. He offered us a non-smoking suite that was much cleaner, but had the same weird smell and set-up. Who lays out the furniture for these rooms - 1 TV centered between 3 rooms on a night stand - strange. Once again a stinky couch -- I think they are getting their furniture from garage sales - as nothing matched in the entire room and did not match the other room. We stayed one night and left -- I will never, never stay here again. What a dump!! The price was 89 so that was no steal for a Super 8. I've stayed at the one in Lee's Summit many times and although they have a strange set-up the rooms are clean, clean, clean. This is not just hard feelings, this is the truth.

Place is terrible
By Pamela, 7/26/09
They were redoing the roof at 9 PM and restarted at 7 AM. Breakfast poor, we went to McDonald's which is not a good choice but better than the hotel. Dirty. TV didn't work until the person brought a new one twice. Many appliances plugged in to each electric socked. Phone rang in the middle of the night.

Not great
By md108, 1/2/09
We stayed one night. She gave us a suite for the same price of a regular room. The couch and chair were old and nasty looking. The curtains had water stains. The tv remote didn't work. No ash trays in a smoking room. The toilet wouldn't stop running. Closed the closet door and it locked. Glad I didn't have anything in it. The pool was closed. Don't think we'll stay here again - will go on to the next town.

Best Buy for the Buck

I loved everything about it,really. Convenient, clean, quiet, sooooo easily accessible, even a Walmart next door. Very safe town, just very well worth the money.

Try your luck elsewhere
By Hardeep K, 3/3/06
This hotel was pathetic. I had a chance to stay at this hotel last summer on my way down to Branson, Missouri. I booked online and the pool was closed when I got there. The staff should've somehow notified me that the pool was closed and not advertised it. BAD MANAGEMENT. Me and my wife really looking forward to having a swim. All we got was a crummy room with nothing to do. The Room was NOT VERY CLEAN. Seemed like someone had been in the sheets before I got there. There were no other places around that had rooms so I was stuck paying for something I wasn't satisfied with.

Good location and value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/21/05
I like everything about this place. It was clean and neat. The room and lobby were in great shape. It's easy to get to from the highway (US 71). The breakfast was good. Would stay here again.
