Comfort Inn Jamestown, Jamestown

The rates would change from minute to minute when you booked with them. The rooms and halls were dirty and smelled like smoke. The pool area had mud all over the floor the one evening when we were in there & the next day it was still there only smeared the lenght of the pool deck. All of the exits that I used--back of building, side and front were always unlocked even when we came back after dinner & drinks at 11pm. Breakfast area was dirty & always empty when we went for the "breakfast". Would NOT recommend this hotel, & the only reason it is full all the time is because it has the waterslide & they know it.

We arrived for our reserved NON smoking rooms (2) and they both reeked of smoke smell. The girl at the desk said they had just changed some rooms over from smoking to non smoking, but they still needed to have carpets cleaned, etc. She said they were full and that she had no other rooms to change us to, so there is nothing she can do. If these rooms were not ready, they should not have rented them as non smoking. There are no other vacancies in town, we are stuck with these rooms for the night and I don't imagine it will be pleasant when we have to shut the window tonight.
