DISGUSTING
By disgusted, 5/27/11
This place was disgusting and I would never recommend to anyone. We got there and you needed an oxygen mask to even breathe in the lobby since it was so filled with cigarette smoke. The room was disgusting as well and the carpets looked at if they were never vacuumed. The beds were so hard it would have been more comfortable sleeping in the parking lot not to mention a spring poking up that you had to lay on. The bathroom you could tell wasn't cleaned like it should have been. When you took a shower and the mirror steamed up you could read so and so was here so it obviously wasn't cleaned. The deadbolt on the door wouldn't lock unless you pulled up on the door as hard as you could and then you were lucky if you got it unlocked. The TV wouldn't work unless you pounded on it. This was by far the worst hotel ever.

DO NOT STAY HERE! STAY IN YOUR CAR IF YOU HAVE TO!
By kelbell, 10/14/08
This place is a major health hazard for sure. Stayed one night and three days later still feel dirty! The were spiders and pill bugs on the walls. The heat didn't work and we froze all night because we weren't about to get under the cigarette burned bedspreads and the linens with little hairs all over them and stains of who knows what! Good thing I brought my own pillow because the ones in the room were YELLOW! Like they haven't been replaced or washed in years! The worst part was the unbearable smell of mold and mildew! We had to go spend $10.00 on candles, incense, air spray and febreeze, ALL which did nothing for the stench! I actually felt nauscious after only a few minutes! Oh and the towels where filthy. They had brown marks all over them. I just wanted to dry my hands! There was what looked like a clean towel over the tub. I picked it up and started to open it up when several earwigs came crawling out of it!! I was disgusted! With the smell, the bugs, the dirty bedding and the overprice of it all, (online it says $60, in person they charge $111.00! I wouldn't stay in this bug infested ----hole again if they paid me. I can gladly say they will get no more of my or anyone I knows business again. And hopefull not yours for your own sake!!!

Won't be back
By Helen, 8/21/08
Good thing we were only staying 1 night. No towels or ice bucket when we checked in. TV remote was broken. Lights between the bed didn't work. Dirty washcloth stuck between showercurtain and tub. Outdoor pool is open until 11:00 but people were in it screaming and laughing way past that. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty!!!!!
By Joe T, 9/29/07
The room was dirty! The bed was sunken in the middle and looked like it was 20 years old. The bedding was old and worn. Outdated accomodations, needs to be updated in the worst way. Would not stay at the hotel and found other hotel in the area for a few dollars more.

It was okay.....
By jenni v, 8/7/07
Well, we got there a couple of hours earlier then we expected and asked if we could check in early and the girl said flat out NO. Then she said we didn't even have a resorvation. Then we showed her the printed out conformation and then suddenly she had a room open right at that moment. Which it worked out better that way, we drove for 12 hours straight and needed sleep bad. The room itself wasnt't that bad. A little outdated, but the bed's werent' bad the 1st couple of nights. The pool was gross and unkept. They don't tell you when you check in that you can use the indoor pool and hot tub across the street for free. The contiental breakfast is so worth skipping. Go to the gas station and get a doughnut. I would NOT stay here again.

This is a nice hotel at a great price close to Cedar Point. I would stay there again. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Thank God I love Cedar Point
By Paula, 6/29/05
This hotel was not worth one dollar a night. The people were gross it smelled like smoke everywhere we walked. The kids runnung the counter were "hanging" on some of the people staying a the hotel. I really would have been better off sleeping in my car. It was dirty, I thought taking a shower there would get me worse than getting in. The rooms looked like I walked into the 1930's. I was so glad I was only there one night and that it was just a place to sleep before I went cedar point which is the ONLY reason is was worth having to stay at that nasty, dirty place. Unless your poor, or a bunch of young kids ready to party then this is not a good place for you even if its one night.

Dirty
By Amy, 6/7/04
I arrrived to stay for a night.I guess you get what you pay for.The first room they put us in was dirty,so we told them and they let us go another room after we carried all the stuff to the car. Then went to the second room it was also dirty. I called and told them. The girl said we'll get you another room. Then she followed me to check the other rooms as if she didn't believe me. It had some bad fumes int he hallway. It was very bad.
