Liberty Inn, Jacksonville

The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and fast. Our room was clean and in great condition.

The staff is really friendly. When I called from out of state and talked to Kelly; she was so so helpful. Very pleasant and lots of help. The price it the best in town. I called all around. We only needed 3 nights; so was perfect. You can't beat $70 a night with breakfast. The rooms were clean. The carpet looked newer. Looked freshly painted. I was happy with the place. I would have to say the only things I didn't like; was the mattress bothered my back. Really hard mattress. Was clean. And the side we stayed on; you could hear the traffic loud; turned the air on to drown it out. But for the money your paying for a few days. It's good. I would stay there again if it was a short period again. I did have a stiff back by the time I got home. It was double beds we got. Maybe the king is more comfortable.

I moved to jacksonville and needed a place to stay till we found a home. We liked the price and it came with a stove. We checked in and I went to the room. The carpet was very nasty. I made my kids wear thier shoes. The bathroom looked like it was growing mold. The a/c unit was very loud. There were always people walking around outside the windows. We asked for a non smoking room but the whole building smells like smoke. I would not recommened this place to anyone. Very gross. Not sure were all the positive reviews come from.

I tried getting a room on board Lejeune but they were all booked. Liberty was about $5 more per night. Very affordable. Great location. Very easy to get to/from anywhere in J-ville from here. Pool & hot tub were OUTSTANDING. Decent game room for kids. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast was decent. I would reccoment to anyone who plans to visit J-Ville/Lejeune.

My husband plays in a eastern nc band and we stay at the liberty everytime we go to Jacksonville to play for the weekend, I find the pool and hot tub are great ....and one of my favorite things about going for the weekend! The rooms are clean and I find the people that work there very nice and helpful. I am Packing now to stay there again tomorrow night and am staying for the weekend.

This is my third reservation in a year with Liberty Inn. Fair Price, Great People, Clean Rooms. Will be back again as long as my son is at LeLeune.

i called to inquire on price for some rooms, the lady who picked up the phone was very rude, try to rush me off the phone, the T.V. very loud in the background, and then what she quote me for the amount of days i am staying there do not add up. I do know there is taxes and other fees but not when the total climb over $200 then what have been quoted.. they whacked...

I made a reservation months in advance for my elderly father's visit. We live thousands of miles away and I wanted to be sure that my dad was taken care of. He is disabled and dying from cancer. His mobility is incredibly comprimised and his pain level intense. In spite of these difficulties, he wanted to walk his granddaughter down the aisle. So I called and made the reservation. I stressed his disabilities. I stressed his need for a first floor room close to the front of the Inn. I stressed his extreme need for a non-smoking room. I felt confident that the person taking the reservation understood me and made the reservation accordingly. When my father reached the Inn...he was told that no note of any disability was on the reservation and all the first floor rooms were taken. The desk attendent was apathetic and unconcerned. My father told her..."well I cannot do stairs, what am I supposed to do"? They ended up putting my dad in room 142 in the smoking section. That is fine...a mistake was made, but he stayed 3 nights. Are you to tell me that no first floor ,non-smoking rooms close to the front did not open up in his 3 night stay? Then it took more than 24 hours to realize that the phone in his room was not even attached to the appropriate wires! I am totally upset about how my dad was treated and I REALLY believe he deserves a refund! I will not be suggesting your establishment to anyone!

If you like a place where you can have sex in the pool at any time of the night and have items taken from you room then this is the place for you. But for me never have stayed at a place like this and never will again.

We actually liked everything, rooms were clean...the staff were all wonderful...location was great...close to base The only thing I didn't like was I reserved the cheapest room which doesn't have a microwave or fridge...so i'll just upgrade next time
