Worst Hotel in Hilton Chain

Lets start with the dislikes: In process of remodel, color scheme is a hideous slap in the face. Bright yellow green walls (ugh), they should have gone with the light blue in the carpet and given it more of a spa feel. Checked in online since I am a Diamond Elite Honors member, choose my room. Got there and the room wasn't ready, had no record of me checking in online (a first). Put me in a "newly remodeled room", no furniture in the room and the carpet wasn't completely finished. Had to be moved to another room. I had to go to the front desk on a nightly basis to have them reset my key cards. Everytime, talked to me like I was 2 and asked "did you have it by your cell phone". As a very seasoned business traveler this question was insulting. Staff was not friendly. Watched housekeeping spill some soda in the elevator and when I returned this evening (12 hours later) it was still there and housekeeping was gone. And yes, they know they spilled it. They looked right at it, talked about it, and did nothing. Shower in "newly remodeled" bathroom (which is really tiny by the way) is built for someone who is 5 feet tall. I was eye to eye with the shower head. I had to become a contorsionist to wash my hair. My door would not close all the way and I had to make sure to push it shut so it would latch. Then I would put the deadbolt on to know it was closed. Keep your money or spend a bit more and stay down the road at the other Hilton or next door at the Marriott. The only thing I did like about it was it's proximity to everything.
