Arnoma Hotel Bangkok, Bangkok

we had a comfortable stay in this hotel for 4 nites. its location is so convenient for shopping purposes. the staff we encountered were helpful and understood english. except for the one nite the airconditoning of the hotel broke down , everything else was fine.

LIKES: 1)warmth welcome,helpful,friendly n smiley staff.2)the room is very nice and very clean.3)very very good location with great view.opposite this hotel is CENTRAL WORLD,next door is shopping mall called BIG 'C'.5MINS walk to PLATINUM SHOPPING MALL N TRAIN STATION.15-20mins walk to SIAM SQUARE AND MBK.(if u're strong enough to walk)and lastly of course is VALUE OF MONEY. SATISFIED GUARANTEED. DISLIKES:Nothing that i dislikes that place. i wll DEFINITELY go back to ARNOMA AND STAY THERE AGAIN.

we have going bangkok 2time or 3 time in 1 year and this is the fist time we stay this arnoma hotel we booked on 04 Jun2005 to 16Jun in this hotel and the staff was unfriendly wen we need room service we have to call almost twice i haven't seen this befor my sis use the hotel room cup for coffee omg 2ady the the cup stiil in there in side still got some coffee wat is the room service staff is doing they job??or just take pay??in 06Jun i wan to checked out but the receptionist say can not bec we booked04Jun to 16 den my sis say is ok maybe not all the ady is like this den we stay we got 2 room 5ppl so we need 1 more towel omg i have to give some money to the room service staff den they will take towel no give monet no towel too bad on the 16 we checked out i call the staff come to the room help us to take luggage he ask mi wat time we need to take back the luggage i say 5pm den i and my sis go receptionistbec got 2 room have to checked out wow the staff ask my mother and my sis son take the luggage to the room den give her card for the luggage wen we wan take back omg u see so bad how can they do this????

We booked two nights at the Arnoma in Bangkok in October 2006. At check-in the receptionist was unfriendly and I did not feel welcome. The hotel was renovating floors at this time which we did not know. The whole hotel smelled intensely of solvent, paint, and pesticides. This was one reason why we checked out after the first night in this hotel because I suffer from asthma and I could not breathe. The second reason was, when we came to the hotel at 10:00pm the first night my husband put his key card in the slit for the electricity in the room and the card got stuck and fell through. We could not get it out anymore. We went down to the reception and after explaining several times to different people what happened (the staff does not speak english well) the lady gave us another key card and told us to wait in the room, she will send someone up. We did as we were told. Without a key card in the slit the electricity in the rooms does not work. Because there was a key card in the slit already we could not put in a second one. So we sat in the dark for 15 (fifteen!) minutes until somebody from the reception called to ask once again what the problem was. We had explained the problem four times by then to four different people and still nobody did anything. The moment we walked out the door to go down to the reception one more time a hotel boy came up and got the card out. The room we stayed at was small and old. As soon as you turn on the air condition the smell of mold fills the room. The renovations are much needed. I am deeply disappointed in this hotel, especially in the staff and the service.

My family travel to Bangkok in March 2006. We booked 3 rooms, and check-in on different date. On the 1st day when we check-in, the front desk staff is OK. BUT the WOST thing happen when my dad arrival on the 2nd day. The front desk have VERY VERY BAD service, this is what happen. Dislike: *They let other guest who arrival later than my dad to check in 1st. (Other guest not in Q) *When I actually complain to the FRONT DESK MANGER, DONALD. He did not reply to me. (Typing thing in front of us) *After a while I ask Donald again, he reply to me in a VERY RUDE tone and ask me to wait till he finish his work which he is doing. *Donald don't know how to handle complain, he will reply in very rude manner. (Talk very loud n shout) Like: *Only location

This is a fantastic hotel whose main plus point to stay in is its strategic location right in the heart of Bangkok. You can trek to "Big C" centre, Central World Plaza or even Pratunam Wholesale Centre from the hotel. In addition, the service staff's customer service response is fast, responding to my call 5 minutes later (when my TV goes black and I called for assistance). All in all, a good choice for someone who is embarking on a trip to Bangkok.

For a reasonable price we got a package of hotel with excellent location, especially for my mother who needed someone to assist her in walking, the commercial is just within sight from the lobby; good food for everyone, great n comfortable rooms, where my children had spent each night sleeping soundly in the soft mattresses n pillows. With room temperature easily adjusted, there was no problem at all. T.V. shows entertained them while in the room. Service is equally superb. People are friendly. It has a clean and very presentable lobby. My family travels annually and with Arnoma in mind, the next time we will be in Bangkok, we shall search no more for any other place to stay but right here at Arnoma Hotel. This is the right place to be when in Bangkok, within walking distance to the malls. I'm glad we had the opportunity to experience a very satisfying stay at this hotel ! I will recommend this to friends.

I was there Dec. of 2004. It was my second time. The hotel is clean and conveniently located. Great bargin and breakfast to boot. Would highly recommend this hotel.
