Fairmont Mara Safari Club, Maasai Mara Reserve

The tents were moldy. The water was brown. It was very big. The only good part was the hippos right out side your moldy tent.

I loved everything about the place.keep it up.I did enjoy my meals! The service were great but sometimes there were delays during de game drives which i didn't mind really,it was a holiday and no where to rush to.

The Mara Safari Club was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful grounds, accommodations, and meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The safari was amazing, we saw the 'big five' and lots more. The driver was very friendly and went out of his way over and over to make sure we saw all we could. We enjoyed every second of our two nights there and would highly recommend it!

i liked the tent experience it was very cold at night but i loved the way they placed the hot water bottles in the bed while we were out. The driver was excellent and very informative. We saw every animal and the food was delicious. We couldnt have a bath as the solar energy water system wasnt warm enough which was ashame because the bath was huge and i couldnt believe how luxurious a tent could be. Drinks were expensive but everything else was inclusive.

i felt at home and comfortable. the tents were wonderful and the entertainment along with the food and animals were all spectacular and exciting. i recommend everyone going atleast once!

It was an incredible adventure! The staff was very nice and helpful with any needs I had while there!

It was wonderfull living in a tent. The service was excellent. The tent was very nice and very clean. The meal was fantastic and it was very interesting to hear about the masai triep.

The toilets Overflowed and filled my room. I found prostetutes in my room, when i got back to the hotel. There were needles everywhere and we sufferd numerous terrorist attacks. But overall great holiday.

It is a truly recommendable location. Great tents, friendly people, extremely clean and good food. I don't know about the drivers and jeeps, because we came with our own vehicle and driver. In 4 game drives, we have seen the Big Five and so much more! My husband, my 8 year old daughter and I were in tears when we had to leave.

My wife and I have been to several camps and lodges over the years - we love the experience. This is our 2nd visit to Mara Safari Club. We went back because we had heard that Fairmont Hotels had taken over and renovated. We stay at their resorts in Alberta and hoped they would be on par with them. They are and what a change! Same great, warm service and friendly staff, including several who remembered us from 2005! The new tents are as nice as any hotel room - the beds are fantastic, marble bath room with great shower, minibar, safe coffee maker. We are told wireless phones will be placed in the room soon so you can order room service.The new lodge is completely different - luxurious and warm, with beautiful seating areas and a big deck overlooking the Mara river. We had dinner outside in their dining bomi which was new to us. Food was very good We took our one of the newer open vehicles and it was fantastic. Our driver, Abdi, was very knowledgable and we saw the big five within our first 2 hour game drive. I would recommend this experience to anyone. We have paid considerably more to stay in smaller camps and not had the same kind of service or luxury. In all of our adventures, this was also the first time we were lucky enough to see a leopard. We will be back!!
