Wouldn't go back!!

My partner and I stayed at the Noosa Crest hotel after searching the internet for great property! Judging by the website I thought it was perfect. However, when we checked in the property was adequate, the furnishings are tired. One thing I can say is the shower pressure was great.
I had booked the Noosa Crest for three days directly with the property. When you check in you must pre pay your entire stay. Be forewarned - if you have to change your plans they will not give you a refund for your unused days.
During our stay we unfortunately had to leave early and head back to the Gold Coast to attend urgent business.
I informed the front desk of our changed plans (this is the morning of day three) The front desk told us in no uncertain terms that we would not get our money back.
When we checked out I indicated that I have worked for many years in the hotel business and have never stayed in a hotel that would charge for a room that you did not stay in.
Furthermore that receptionist told me that I was rude and she suggested that I received a good deal on the hotel room and that I shouldn't return.
Thanks but no thanks.
