Motel 6, Paso Robles

I, too was nervous to book here because of the bad reviews. However, it was a holiday weekend (4th of July 2009) and it was the only room I could find in a 30 mile radius that was under $120..(I booked late.) When I got there the young lady at the front desk was really nice and the room was very clean..didnt smell bad, and had everything in it that should have been, ie, right amount of towels, tissue, ice bucket, etc. The carpet was ok to walk on, unlike other Motel 6s Ive been to, and the sheets were clean and fresh. It was a bit noisy in the night, but is to be expected considering it was a 4th of July weekend in a booked motel somewhat close to the beach. It was definitely not too noisy for me to sleep. I would definitely stay here again...I've stayed in other hotels in the area and was completely disappointed. I found myself thinking, damn I shouldve just stayed in Paso Robles Motel 6 instead of some of the dumps I stayed in on my way to SanLuis Obispo. I dont want to stay in a "dump" motel, but I do like to spend less than 85-100 bucks on a room, and I got my wish at this location

the sheets didn't fit the bed, there were tons of hairs all over the box spring, dog fur on the blankets, a rude night staff. we demanded our money back for the second night and moved to the Budget Inn - this is the spot to stay in Paso.

I read the reviews for this motel and I was worried. But I booked any way. I dont know who owned it before but these new people (or the people who own it now) are great. It was very clean. Cleaner than I have seen a motel/hotel in the past. It didnt smell, of anything, and we were right next to the smoking rooms.......I will recommend it to anyone using "twin rivers equestrian Park" Good deal, good location, good clean room.

This motel was a little hard to find, but the staff talked us through town til we got there. They were patient and friendly. It's a little tough to find, but that makes for a great location - off the beaten track and quiet. No frills, but very clean. We would have stayed longer just to rest and relax if we had the time.

The service people are rude. The location isn't the best, but they accept dogs (on a leash) and the rooms are large and clean. I stayed here a lot while I was having my house built, so I know this place pretty well.
