Love it!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/25/08
We've stayed here twice and it's one of our favorite places. The hotel has all of the Tyrolean charm that you expect in this part of the world. The rooms are a good size, comfortable beds, lots of storage room. The bathrooms are nicely appointed. Good linens. The hotel is right in the middle of town - the town itself is very quiet and picture perfect. The service and the food are impeccable. The cute people who work there couldn't be nicer and are very helpful. There is an on site restaurant that is very good. As far as we're concerned, this is the only place to stay in this part of the Dolomites!

Es ist gut!
By Angela, 1/19/06
After a long dive up to the Apls from Perugia I arrived in the cover of night. This was a last minut side trip, and I had nothing to go on except a blurb from Rick Steves' guide book. The Inn was perfectly cozy, and the rooms large. I awoke to the sun peaking up over a hugh rock mountain... the view from my balcony was breath taking. The bathtub was hugh, and the spa in the old winecellar was a treat after a day of skiing. ....anyway, see for yourself. It is the best.

Home away from home
By Chris, 8/15/05
I have stayed at the Cavalino 2x's now for a total of 7 nights and I really cannot think of anything negative to say about either the hotel or the village. What I love most about the hotel is the true family atmopshere and the wonderful dinners! The food there is wonderful as is the service. The rooms are very well maintained and each room I have been in has had a wonderful view of the mountains with my own provate balcony. I cannot recomend this place enough for anyone wanting to experience the beautiful mounatins of the Dolomites.
