Royal Elysees, Paris

In such a central location, the hotel was brilliant. The service was good and the rooms ok for the price. Just can not get over the fresh breakfast every morning.

This place is quite simply one of the most outstanding hotels in Paris. Having stayed at numerous "Hotels Parisiennes", I must admit that this tops them all. The staff are both friendly and efficient; Zaine, the hotel receptionist, has an excellent sense of humour, and great understanding of French pre-revoution history. The bar is cheap as chips; just ask the barman [also Zaine] to slip you a few "boissons gratuits" for an excellent night! Situated ideally close to one of Paris's best attractions, the Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel Royal Elys�e is 100% top notch. Food, service, and member of staff are all great!

I have no idea how they came out with 4 stars, I think this is a motel type. It is too expensive, and the staff is not very nice, so you feel like if they are hosting you for free. Nothing work, elevator is not on, the sheets have holes, just not a good place..
