Jameson Suites Columbia is located approximately five miles from Fort Jackson and 19 miles from Columbia Airport. The hotel is also five miles from Sesquicentennial State Park, seven miles from Riverbanks Zoo, and eight miles from the State Museum. Hotel amenities include the pool, fitness room, laundry facilities, and complimentary breakfast buffet. The hotel also offers valet laundry service and free parking. The Bed made it all worthwhile

We were on the road for just over 8 hrs and spent the day at Ft Jackson. All I could think of was getting some rest and the evening front desk clerk took care of us with excellent service. When I got into bed my entire body relaxed and within minutes I was asleep.I felt great the next morning. Without the body aches I usually experience, and I have a select comfort (sleep number) bed at home. Now if I could only find out the brand of mattress they use.

Excellent experience.

Facility was clean and well maintained. Rooms were large with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hair dryer. Mattress was the best I have EVER slept on. Pillows had zippered pillow covers in addition to pillow cases; great for people with allergies and asthma. Location is easily accessed from interstate. Restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very friendly, courteous, efficient, and accommodating. Complimentary breakfast was very good; hot and cold foods including Belgian waffles. I look forward to staying here again.

You get what you pay for

The room had a very bad odor coming from the air condition unit, the carpet need to be replaced, very dirty, the sofa bed had stains so I defintely did not utilize that, the entrance door looks as if it had been in a part of a burglary or break-in, the font desk clerk clothes was so wrinkled you could tell she was in the back office sleeping, sorry, but I won't be back

Customer Service was excellent

I would like to thank your staff for their professionalism during a time of my family losing one of our members. I would like to especially thank Althea Johnson and Telisheon Howell. They were both so helpful during a difficult time for my family. The whole staff were friendly and very helpful. I just read some of the reviews, the rooms could have been a lot cleaner, there were dust visible and the carpet needs to be replaced.

The room carpet was filthy. The bed was quite hard because there was no mattress - just bed springs. When I checked out at 5:00 AM, I had to awaken the night clerk. The requested wake up call did not happen. When the desk clerk was told of this her comment was "That's OK".

No such thing as customer service

The hotel was OK,, the rooms are furnished a bit more than your basic hotel. However there is NO hot tub as stated, the pool is out doors and the business center in non existent. There was no area information in the rooms and asking the desk help was like talking to a brick wall. They could not even tell us where to find a dry cleaner. They did have waschers and dryers a a 1.00 a machine, but no bill changer and the front desk would only give you 2.00 in quarters, quite usleless! I heard they are in the midst of being bought out, but nothing about the service there would make me want to stay again. I could go to a basic hotel, pay half price and then I would not expect any help from the front desk.

the hotel provided excellant service our room was kept very clean and the full breakfast bar was great. we came down to see our son graduate basic training and it was great!!

Nice Clean Room

A very large and clean room. Nice facilities overall. Easy to find. Good breakfast, nice people. A little bit pricey, but that may be driven by the location and time of year. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again (if we couldn't find a better deal)

The Only Place To Stay

My family stayed in an Amerisuite in Columbia South Carolina while on vacation a few years ago. The Amerisuite experience was so pleasant, no other hotels or condo's can compare. Since that vacation we have stayed in Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, and a Condo and we were not at all satisfied with the service at these places after being spoiled by Amerisuites. From now on whenever booking a vacation, I will look for an Amerisuite in the area my family will be vacationing in. Lisa Brockman
