\"Not what you expect from a Hampton Inn\"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/15/11
I can't say the staff was rude, they never acknowledged our presence with smile, hello, or even"how was your stay?". If you are traveling with a handi-cap person, or are handi-cap don't expect any help with rooms or even entry doors that accomidate wheel chairs (a normal size wheel chair) , I was traveling with my mother who is in a wheel chair, she did not complain one time. I essed up and did not check the handi-cap box when reserving online, I told the front desk staff person and asked if they had a handi-cap room, or just a larger room. He never attempted to check, his response " I don't have anything, there is nothing I can do." It was my fault so we suffered through it, I should say she suffered through it, not having safety rails in the bathroom madeit impossible for her to be independent. The bathroom was nice and large but had hair left in the bathtub, and the floor was dirty. The complimentary breakfast was good. We normally stay at the Hampton Inn South and will definitely be going back there. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hilton family property.
