Satisfactory in Every Way

This hotel was very nice despite the previous posts. It had been newly renovated and is wonderful. The rooms all had big screen televisions, gaming systems, microwaves, and refrigerators. The lobby had a pantry if you wanted to purchase a snack or something later in the evening. It was easily accessible off two major thoroughfares, at least ( this was my first trip to MI ever so I don't really know). It was very secure, as I was a single female who traveled there with my young son. The hotel was not far from Flint, Ann Arbor, and major restaurant chains and drug stores. The housekeeping staff always made sure we had bottled water available after every room cleaning. The hotel provided Neutrogena products for hygienic purposes, soap, lotion, etc. I only paid 99.00 per night and this was during the week. The last plus was my GPS system picked it up and my directions were on point every time. My next trip to the Detroit metro, I will definitely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. I really can't think of anything negative about the hotel. It served my needs. BTW there was also a business center room that was available free of charge to make a copy or print something out (I had to print my boarding pass for my flight home). The hotel did provide free high speed internet service in the rooms. One negative, now that I think of it is the hotel wanted to charge for local calls. I think this is a bit archaic, but hey, times are hard for everyone.
