A few years ago my husband and I began a yearly retreat to this wonderful hotel and I hope it carries on for many years to come . If you are willing to spend the money you will get what you pay for . Fantastic rooms, the best location and service with class. From the doormen to room service you can always expect the best. Enjoy Chicago

I stay at this hotel most times when I visit Chicago. The staff is both professional and friendly. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are not only well decorated, they are "cool" -- art deco style. The location of this hotel can't be beat. It is situated away from the "downtown" area in a part of Chicago known as the "Gold Coast." This is the home of wealthy residents and where all of the expensive boutique stores are located. Across the street is Gibson's -- the best steakhouse in Chicago (if not the country). Across the street in another direction is the Pancake House -- a tremendous breakfast eatery. A few blocks away is the Underground Wonder Bar, a fantastic place to waste a few hours in the late evening listening to jazz and other good music. Also, the lake and the shopping district are just a few blocks walk.

This Canadian chain is a real sleeper. Great location but nondescript look from outside would make it great for a quiet getaway. Very modern look inside rooms. Right across the street from landmark House of Pancakes is a plus. Also try The Big Bowl one block away. Doormen among the best at greeting you, giving instructions, calling cabs.

Great hotel in a great location! The room was very clean and comfortable; the staff was wonderful. The pancake house across the street has great breakfast, but expect to wait in a line for a table. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is the perfect location for nightlife right in the middle of State Street/Rush Street/Divsion Street clubs, daytime sightseeing and shopping three blocks from Water Tower Place, one block from Oak Street, under two blocks to Michigan Avenue and three blocks from Oak Street Beach and the Lakefront. The hotels are sleek and contemporary and the staff is warm and friendly. We used this hotel for our out-of-town guests for our wedding and each family and friend member gave it rave reviews.

Awesome location, right in the heart of the Rush Street action. Friendly, top notch professional staff. I travel a lot, I truly felt welcomed and comfortable at this hotel. The doorman was especially helpful and made each return a pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious, very up to date, very comfortable and highly functional. Quality toiletries, thick towels, a seperate glass shower and a very deep tub, (didn't get to use this time). This my top choice for any future visits to Chicago.
