Travelodge Inn and Suites Orlando Airport, Orlando

Ok, so it's a budget hotel. We all know that looking at the price....but what made this a great place to stay, was the staff! We (four adults 27-35yrs old) were able to catch our free shuttle to the hotel promptly, and without any hassle after getting our bags from the airport. The shuttle driver was friendly and outgoing; offering information about the area, attractions, getting around, etc. The night staff at the hotel let us stay in the outdoor pool and hot tub 2 hrs after the posted closing time. (This was such a nice bonus, as we checked in around 8pm) I likely wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with small children, or couples looking for a romantic getaway...but for 4 young adults (two women, two men) looking for a place to relax without costing a fortune, this place was perfect. Also, our rooms were clean, and the air conditioners worked great. What more could you ask for?

The lobby appeared neat and clean at 2am, staff gave me a portacrib and blanket, we went to our room and it smelled and appeared dirty, we didn't want to touch anything. I opened the crib and there was a big hole in the side of it, the padding was stained and the bottom of the crib had old food stuck to it, the blanket they gave me for the crib had burn holes and huge rips in it, we tore the blankets off the king bed and put our twin babies and 5 year old in it with us. About 5 hours later, I went and complained about the room, the pool being closed and there was no hot breakfast, which on our itinerary had said hot breakfast buffet. I told the manager it was not worth 89.00 a night and Checked out, but, the good news is, they discounted my room and we only paid 36.75 for it. But, that's all it is worth. I would never stay there again, it's so worth paying an extra 50.00 a night to stay in a nicer place. The night staff at the Ramada Inn and Suites was a very rude person, but, the day staff were very nice and understanding, except for the manager, she thought her hotel was worth 89.00 a night, Sorry, but it's not. The carpet, linens and furniture need to be replaced. It's a gross place to stay, unless you don't mind dirty and smelly.

I and my husband discovered in the evening that our room was not cleaned. My husband talked to desk clerk about it, but there was no reaction. Hotel includes breakfast. When I and my husband came for the breakfast at 9.20 there was no food. Employees of hotel said to wait for 20 minutes for scrambled eggs. It happened every day.

Nice hotel, a little updating could help, but no complaints. The staff was very helpful in every way. Good location. room was large. and the pool was too. a great place to stay before your flight leaves.

This place was an absolute dump of a hotel. I was in town for a convention and booked late. As a result, the Rosen Plaza couldn't take me until 4/25/07. I booked one night at the Ramada on McCoy thinking that one night wouldn't be that bad. Foolish me! First, I prepaid on a referring travel agent's website and was subsequently charged again when I checked in. I was assurred that the mistake was corrected prior to going to my room. Once I saw the condition of my room I left the hotel immediately! My room was furnished with filthy linens and some very dirty carpet. I sat on the bed only to "poked" by a spring from the matress. The bathroom was an absolute mess! I ended up staying the night at the Marriott Grande Vista (FABULOUS). After checking my bank statements, I realized that the hotel charged me for an additional night's stay on 4/27/07, even though I never spent the first night in that dump. I have made repeated calls to get this matter resolved and have yet to make contact with the hotel manager. This place is a disgrace to the Ramada name!

floors and elevators are nasty, no hot water, a/c did not blow cold air, front desk staff are understaffed and undertrained also, horrible mold smell in rooms, must of lost their room during the hurricanes of 2004

We stayed here for one night before we left town from Orlando International Airport to go on a cruise out of San Juan Puerto Rico. We got to leave our car at the hotel for a very cheap price (5 days free and $5 for every additional day). The hotel was clean, and the only issue we had was the shower water didn't get very warm. All in all we would recommend it.

I can't beleive how highly the others rated this hotel. I'm in it right now, and the room is old, dank and dingy. Definately needed an update about 10 years ago. The carpet is moist, and gives me the willies to walk on. The positives are the staff, and the free wireless connection. Other than that, it is far away from downtown if you need to be there ($25 cab ride). The room is so dank, with the AC on even, that I'm feeling sick staying here, possibly from mold. Don't stay here if you don't have to, and don't beleive the other reviews. I'm a business traveler and know hotels well.

best staff, quite location, excellent Brkfst. pool wasn't heated as advertised, an overall good and nice hotel.near airport, near the florida mall, away from the crowd.I'll stay here next time.

I arrived in Orlando at 4 in the morning travelling alone with my three small children and called Ramada from the airport and they came and picked me up, took my bags to my room and gave me a really great discount and treated me very kindly. Excellent service and an awesome buffet breakfast! I would definitely go back!!! Thumbs up!
