Nice...BUT....
The pros: The rooms are large. I stayed in a corner unit (huge balcony). There's a kitchenette which is great if you're w/kids. The rooms are reasonably clean and the view is amazing. Right on the beach - ocean waves...
The cons: the balcony doors in my unit as well as my co-worker's unit down the hall did not shut!! that means (in Florida): BUGS can come in. Granted, it's at the beach, so not many bugs in the air, - but it gets kinda loud to hear the ocean all night. wish the doors would shut all the way. Also, I came back one afternoon and housekeeping hadn't shut my front door all the way. I know how that happened - due to the balcony door being open, there's a draft in the room - prolly prevented the front door from shutting correctly. My toilet made noises at night - and the hotel is just old, in a way. Looks like it was redone in the 90s but has taken a Florida beating since then. I'd still stay there again because I didn't see anything better in Melbourne.
The location's great - and really, that town has no better place to stay.
