Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Brussels, Brussels

Great location, within walking distance of everything. Great breakfast buffet. The room was very clean. If you arrive with a car, do not come in anything bigger than a mini cooper, very very small and narrow parking underground. No internet at all!!!!!

Not very clean - the bathroom particularly. The telephone was very dirty, as was the hair drier and behind the lavatory and bathroom door. Broken bedroom furniture. No response when I e:mailed the Radisson Group after my stay. Having stayed at the Radisson Hotel in Helsinki which was excellent, very disappointed.

The front desk knew that I was arriving (which made me feel special) and had the key ready! Ofcourse, it helped that my husband "warned" them of my arrival. The service at the breakfast room was also excellent. They were courteous and were always ready to help. And the buffet breakfast... fantastic! I had a taste of almost everything. There is a chef awaiting to prepare your favorite omelet. The room was great! Everything was in order, nice thick towels. Nice shower/ bath and very clean. All in all, it was a great experience except for the bed. I just found it a little too soft for me. Location was great! I walked from the Central Station to the hotel and everything else was just minutes away -- Grand Place, restaurants, and great shopping just 2 blocks away! I look forward to staying here again and will recommend it to my clients.

The radisson sas provided me with excellent service , value for money. One must eat at its exccellent 2 star michellen restaurant and then pop into the bar for one of their delicious cocktails, loved the strawberry daiquiri!!! I have to mention the friendliness of the staff who looked after me like a real vip!!! Thanks for everything Radisson Brussels

Where do I begin? When we checked in they placed us in a standard room, even though we had pre-paid for a suite on their concierge level. On complaining, the front desk told us they were too busy with other guests to bother with us. It took an hour for them to produce a manager and then another hour arguing with him in the lobby, that they had to give us what we paid for or find us something comparable at another hotel, before we finally got moved to the correct room. They wouldn't even let us rebook for the standard room at the lower standard rate. Our pre-paid package also included in-room movies and internet, but the TV/internet in the room did not work at all (due to upgrading we were told - didn't we get the note?). The restaurant was not open! Room service only provided a single towel, even though there were two of us (We had to call every day for additional). So it was no surprise that on check-out they tried to double charge us for breakfast, even though that was also included in the package price. I spend 6 months a year on the road, living out of hotels. This is the first time I have ever aired a complaint in public. I have removed Radisson SAS from my list of vendors.
