Hard Rock Hotel Cancun All-Inclusive, Zona Hotelera

It wasn't the best Palace Resort I've ever been to, but the resturants are nice, the loddy and rooms are so beautiful and spotless, and you are treated like a King/Queen there...!! And OMG! The beach, is like, totally awesome! Probably the best thing/attraction there. Now the reason why I say It isn't the best Palace Resort is because the pool is not the biggest and best, it's clean though. And it's more for if you're looking for romance or going on a honeymoon, and we went as a family.

Seeing all these people write about bad things on this resort make me laugh... they obviously don't pay attention to anything that goes on. You are in MEXICO! The service is TREMENDOUS, the entertainment staff along with the waitress' and bar tenders are awesome! Claudia one waitress is the best! As well as Cesar the bartender! If you guys complain about not getting service, maybe it is because since it is all inclusive you think that you dont need to tip. The workers dont make alot of money so it make sense that they will take care of others before you because they tip! I think this is the BEST place to be when you are in Cancun! and anyone that thinks differently doesn't need to come back! But as for me I WILL be back every year and probably eventually have a destination wedding there

My wife and I go there every four to six months. The beach is wonderful and so is the pool. The main thing we notice was the wine selection changed. They used to have a large choice of wines to pick from.That was what helped us in our discussion to join. Now all you get is some Mexican stuff you never heard of. We also notice that they fired all most everybody and hired people who couldn't hardly speak English. We have been going here for years and now things are changing rapidly. They also constantly try to get you to go to there sales meetings which take hours of your vacation time. A word to the wise remember when you join everything can change with no notice to you till you get there.

I stayed here a few times and always had a wonderful stay! Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff. Beach is awsome!

Very nice hotel, good promotion package for 1500 credit. You can use up to 300 for massage. Juggle tour, wet & wild , or taquila package ( cost 100 ea). Excelent good service, However, the food is not that great. Italian food here is so bad. Our group travel of 10 people total, 9 out of 10 plates that we order are taste terrible.The food presentation at the Italian restaurant is awesome but the quality is so bad. Not thing taste like Italian food. The buffet is ok. The only good restaurant here is the steak house.

My boyfriend and I recently went to Cancun Palace, had an incredible time. Great food, rooms and pool! Our first day we met with a salesperson wanting us to upgrade our membership hitting all the sales points including "they consider us like family"!! Sure we were treated awesome all week, but family ... So on our last day we packed our bags and I placed all of our valuables in the top dresser drawer because I always travel with them in my purse but didn't want to walk around the resort/pool with them. Needless to say on the plane home my contact lenses dried up and I reached for my eyeglasses and... not there, I started to panic, did I drop them. No, it hit me I left the hotel with all our our valuables in the top dresser drawer. (COACH SUNGLASSES, COACH EYEGLASSES, TIFFANY CUFF, 2 TIFFANY NECKLACES, RANDOM JEWELRY, NINTENDO DS, ITOUCH, CELL PHONE, PLUS MORE) What an idiot I was, I tortured myself and my boyfriend until we got off the 4 hour plane ride. I called Palace, reached their lost/found, she said she would go with security and the maid for that floor to our room and get back to me. Within 10 minutes I received a call.... every single one of my items were still there. Within 15 more minutes I received an email itemizing my items and instructions for their return. I can't say enough how grateful I am, I now am confident our time there was sincere. We are family, it was a pleasure!!! Can't wait til next year!!

We stayed at the palace for 8 days. It was our first trip to Cancun with the children. We previously traveled there and stayed at a couples resort. Cancun Palace is more of a family oriented resort. We stayed in a family suite. The 3 children had their own room with their own TV,deck and jacuzzi. Our adjoining room was similar. The children were treated very well. They enjoyed their independence and they were treated just like adults except they were not given any alcohol at the bars. Kids really enjoyed the room service. We were pleasantly surprised that the Palace had a promotion going on. We got a $1500 room credit to spend on all kinds of excursions and spa treatments. The food was excellent and very good quality. Staff was very helpful and friendly at all times. We booked through Apple Vacations and that was the only negative aspect for this vacation. We had booked the other Cancun trip 4 years ago and the service was outstanding. At that time we had flown on their airline and rode their tour buses to the hotel. The 3-4 representatives were easy to find and very helpful on that trip. But, it seems Apple has cut back on the people and the services. The airline was not even flying out of BWI at the time we left. There were no tour buses at the airport. It seems they outsourced that to small van drivers. There was only one Apple representative at the hotel and she was nearly impossible to find at the desk when she was supposed to be there. We ended up calling the 800 number from the hotel to schedule our return transportation to the airport. More than likely this is the last trip we book through Apple. However, this does not reflect badly on The Palace. We loved everything! We joined into the membership for Palace resorts and we will be going back many many more times. Nothing short of outstanding in all aspects. Once yo go all-inclusive, there is no other way to go. Go and have the vacation of your lifetime. You will not be disappointed. The Palace resorts also have a few couples only resorts and we will also be trying those also. But for families, this was awesome. So if anyone complains about the Cancun Palace, I would say they are just difficult people or maybe just fuddy duddies.

I went with my wife and 3 boys aged 8,12,13. We got the family delux room which was two rooms connected. We had a wonderful view of the roof of the lagoon side of the resort. We didn't care about the view too much though since we wouldn't be in the room very much. I hadf heard stories of great service here but after experiencing the Cancun palace I believe those reviews were written by the staff. I had great service 1 time during my entire week. Most of the time I had to go track down a waiter for a refill. The food was HORRIBLE!!!!! The steaks were the only edible ting there. For crying out loud they didnt have any mexican food on the buffets, and what they did have was poorly prepared and seemed old(even when we were the first people there) We wound up eating away from the resort 3 nights. The drinks were sooooo watered down that it took me 2 days to get a buzz and then it was only after i switched to beer. I wanted to leave the first night there. The rooms were so loud and you could here everything that happened in the hall. For christs sake do something to soundproof the rooms. I got pissed and stormed into the hall to tell someone to shut up but discovered that they were only speaking normally. Then I noticed that there was light coming in all around my door. Between groups of drunks stumbling in at all hours of the night we may have gotten 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep. The kids room was supposed to be stocked with sodas etc. Imagine my surprise when I went into their room and found it stocked with beer, vodka, rum etc.. The kid friendly snack was a bag of gummy bears and oreo cookies. (which they never restocked). The beach was very nice. The waves were pretty big though so be prepared if you have little ones. The pool was HOT. I don't know what if anything that can be done about that but it was like walking into a bathtub. I would not want to be there in August. To sum it up it seemed like they went out of their way to give you the cheapest product available. At first I was more understanding because it was "free" Then I thought about how much I was paying for all of this "free"inferior product and the math didnt work. I would have been better off getting a room somewhere and paying for everything as i went. At least I would have gotten what i payed for and what I wanted.

All that I can say is that the Cancun palace is the most beautifulness resort that I’ve ever visited. From the time that we entered the door we were greeted by the staff and given cold wet towels and wine as we checked in. Originally we opted for the room without the overview however after opening the slide doors and seeing the terrible view of the roof, we quickly changed to an ocean view room. From there until the end of the trip all was smooth sailing. The resort is very clean, and the maids actually cleaned our room twice a day. The a/c was great, and the pools were clean and not over crowed. Cancun palace is less than 5 mins from all the night clubs and malls, and the best thing is that there is a bus that runs every 5 mins out front of the resort. I just can’t stop telling people just how nice this place is. I and the boys loved it so much that we are booking for another trip back in Nov. So to anyone that thinking about visiting choose Cancun palace, but make sure that you only book the rooms with ocean view.
