Will avoid at all cost

Likes: Front desk people are polite and helpful when it comes to printing boarding passes, check-on, etc. They played loud India/middle eastern theme music in the lobby, but maybe guests like that. I prefer elevator music in a hotel lobby. There is one computer in lobby and most of the time kids are using for video games and not available. There is no WIFI in lobby or rooms, however you can borrow a phone cord for your room. We did feel overall safe, but looked out the peep hole of our room when hearing noised and there were 3 police men arresting someone from the room next door...creepy! The maid was very nice and tried her best. The room still had a humid/slimey feel. The sliding door between the bedroom and living room did not work, off its tracks. The beds were low quality about what you would expect at a Motel 6. During the breakfast, there was a seriously hungry mob piling up mounds of bacon. The lines were out the door, each day. We just ate the cereal as the hard boiled eggs looked like rubber. The coffee was pretty good, though. We paid about $90+ USD for our room, but I think that most of the other guests were getting theres for way cheaper. The photo of the garden with peacock is nice, but the bird is gone and the plants are way too overgrown. They really should pay a lawn person to cut back the bushes just for safety sake. We stayed 5 nights and wanted to go somewhere else, but hung in there because overall we felt safe enough. This location is near the airport and the locals all told us that we were in a bad area. So beware of that, too. If I ever had to go back to this hotel, I will not go back to Toronto. Hope this helps because the good reviews on this sight may have been written by their PR firm.
