Stay away!

I met my sister and her kids at this hotel so we could have a family trip to the zoo. My fiance and I were the first to arrive. First impression from the outside was ok. It definitely was inviting. Then we walk in and the lobby was tiny. The check in desk was next to the automatic door, so it kept opening as we just stood there. A sign on the desk read "Free popcorn and BEER every night between 5-7." I should have known something was wrong there. There was no elevator, just stairs that looked like something from a horror movie. The rooms was dreadful. Stains everywhere, bed, carpet, walls. There was a cigarette burn in our comforter (smoke-free room, ha). The bathroom door would not open all the way, it was hitting the toilet. Once inside the bathroom, we found 5 bugs in the shower. TV was bad too. Free HBO....yeah it was VERY fuzzy and not worth watching. I found out later from my sister, she also had bugs in the shower.
The pool, in short, was small. Barely enough room for 5 people (2ft to 5ft). There was an electronic lock on the door that you needed a key code to get through. When we finally got to the pool....a bucket of beer was sitting next to it. The pool was somewhat clean, just tiny.
The breakfast had make your own waffles, mini muffins, pastries, fruit, 2 cereals, and some oatmeal (instant). The set up was bad. It was in the tiny lobby with tables & chairs stuffed in. My fiance and I couldn't move around. The plates were in the middle of counter, so we had to squeeze through to get the plates, then squeeze back out to get the food. It was so crowed (not the hotels fault), that we just left and went to the Mcdonald's, 2 buildings down (which was very dirty by the way).
In short, stay away from this place/dump. It was dirty, dated, and probably some crime. Just spend the extra for the Hampton Inn.
