Host Way Motor Inn, Jericho

The bullet proof glass at the check in desk and the signs that read "NO REFUNDS" and "WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT IN YOUR ROOM" should give you a general idea of just how bad this hotel is. The room was filthy! The rug was worn, dirty, and bunched up. The veneer on the furniture was cracked. The sink was cracked. The room smelled. There was one small window in the entire room. There was a rubber sheet under the regular sheet. This hotel should NOT be advertised on any respectable hotel-booking website! It should be advertised as a "pay-by-the-hour" joint! I walked out of there faster than a New York minute!
