wouldnt recommend this hotel
By MIchelle, 6/27/10
Although the place is beautiful, its a shame of how the management treated our wedding guests with such disrespect. The biggest setback was when hotel management slid our final wedding bill under our honeymoon suite!!! Totally classless!!! The rooms are overpriced and you dont get what you pay for.

Owners unresponsive, too far from Yellowstone
By Robert, 8/7/09
We stayed here because we attended a wedding at the Inn. We were charged a higher rate than quoted by the Inn and another family member's charge card was charged. I spoke to Charlie the owner, who said he would check their records. He left me a message with false information. I have since left messages but have not heard from him in over three weeks. The chef changed the menu (main meat) 2 days prior to the wedding. The wedding hall shuts down at 11:00 pm. and so does the bar on Friday nights. The rooms are clean but tiny especially the bathrooms. This location is way too far for trips to Yellowstone and there are nicer places in Bozeman with pools that work. The staff were nicer than the owners. Breakfast was similar to Country Inn and Suites.

loved the extras and the service
By j.w., 7/30/08
Our room was clean and very inviting. Had trouble figuring how the curtins closed. They had the little extras like great soap, comfortable beds and the quiet was awesome. Loved the morning room where we had our coffee, cereal, fruit and rolls. The Inn is great, but I love old places that have been taken care of and kept in the character of the time it was built. You feel like you stepped back in time.

Best Historical Hotel in Montana!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/13/05
This place is great. Built in 1927 by the Railroads as a starting point for tours of Yellowstone Park and Montana. The rooms in the historic building have been beautifully restored. The restaurant has great food with the recent influx of talent from Washington & California!
