Loved this hotel!
By ,
My friend and I were both impressed with the Drury Inn Union Station. It has charm due to the age of the building and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Our accommodations were comfortable and clean, more than adequately meeting our needs. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with tourist questions and directions. We had no room issues with which we required help. The breakfast buffet was generous and had good variety; the evening snack time was also. Located very close to the Union Station, we found it pleasant and entertaining to walk across the street to eat on the porch at Landry's restaurant twice on the perfect April days we had this year. The water area with fountains was relaxing and the flowers beautiful. There is no question where we would prefer to stay we we return to St. Louis in July. Be sure to take the trolley ride from the Lumiere Casino for a great city tour!

It was okay!
By ,
We originally booked this hotel because of it's location and free amenities, such as breakfast, evening appetizers (which could pass for dinner for some people), soda and popcorn. In that area, we were not disappointed. We had issues with the fact that our ground level room was located next to the trash dumpsters (right outside our window) and each night around 1:00 am, the trash was picked up. For about 30 minutes each night we were kept awake from the noise. We had a few other issues but I reported them to management and they were very cordial and responsive. So even though we did have a some issues with this hotel, I would give them another chance simply because the management seemed very interested in making things right. That said, I will always look out my window before settling in and will request a new room if I am put in a similar situation. ;)

Wouldn't stay anywhere else
We just came back from a stay at the Drury Inn for four days. You couldn't ask for a better hotel. It was right across the street from Union Station and walking distance to quite a few sights. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet was unbelieveable! It was very clean and our rooms were clean when we came back from sight seeing. There was something free just about all times of the day including popcorn, soda, and free alcoholic beverages during dinner. There was a pool and a whirlpool which the family used nightly. Another great ammenity was the free parking in their own garage. Was extremely happy with the hotel and would definitely stay there and only there again.

Been Home 24 Hours & Already Planning My Next Stay
By ,
The whole experience was really nice especially with the hotel being extremely convenient to Union Station. Hubby and I walked out the front door of the hotel and stepped right over to the middle of Union Station where there were stores, tasty restaurants, and paddle boats on a pond filled with fountains and fish. It was also really convenient to the many bars and restaurants on the "strip" downtown. The hotel staff acted like they were genuinely happy to see us each day and the QuickStart breakfast was really good and had items such as donuts, biscuits and gravy, and French toast. The 3 free alcoholic beverages each night were a nice bonus as well as the complimentary coffee and soft drinks in the lobby. The hotel itself was beautiful and historic and had old train conductor uniforms and model trains on display in nice glass cases along the hallway. Our room was spacious and much nicer than we thought it would be for the small price we paid. I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else if I plan to return to St. Louis to sight see and take a leisurely vacation. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

Convenient to all sights, GREAT staff.
By ,
Stayed there in April and know why they received a top rating. All staff we encountered were genuinely friendly and helpful. Made us feel right at home! Room was great, afternoon snacks and happy hour were a hit. Also the business center was convenient and very much appreciated.

Best hotel in St. Louis!
By ,
We have been staying at the Drury Inn Union Station since the Fall of '03, and we just can't bring ourselves to stay anywhere else while we're in St. Louis. This is a great hotel. The staff has always been very friendly and accomodating, and the rooms always clean. The hotel is ideally located for trips to Union Station, Scottrade Center (Go Blues!) and Downtown St. Louis. There is also a nearby Metrolink station which makes it very easy to travel sans car to Forest Park. I've stayed at several hotels in St. Louis, and this beats them all, even some of the so-called "swanky" ones downtown.

Several Times
By ,
I've stayed at this hotel many times and this was the first time that I was not all the way satisfied. They never refilled my coffee supply and didn't clean the rooms till late in the afternoon.

Our Favorite Place to Stay in St. Louis
By ,
We love the Drury Inn at Union Station. The little extras make such a big difference (free parking, snacks/drinks, and breakfast). It's also close to several restauants, the Union Station Mall, and the Metro Link that can take you to the Arch, Park, etc. It's so nice to be able to park the car and not drive/park all over the city. We stay here for a few nights every summer when we have out-of-town guests. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great Place.. Went in August and had such a nice time that going back at the end of this month. Everyone was very friendly and this was the first place that I've stayed that you can't hear doors slamming all hours of the day and night.
