Dysfunctional

I attended an event recently at the hotel and used the hotel's valet services. What a huge, huge mistake!!!! Total chaos to say the least. There was no organization to begin with and I should have gone with my 2nd mind, which was to park on the street. Upon leaving the event, I handed the valet attendant my ticket to get my keys. They couldn't find my keys. I got nothing but excuses (the keys might have fallen on the ground after they moved the vehicle, another guest must have walked off with my keys, they put blame on one another as to who the keys were given to, and so on). I helped search for the keys repeatedly in the bin they kept all the keys in (no real system), but came up with nothing. After waiting over an hour; having my husband drive a half hour to bring the other set of keys; and after speaking with the CEO on the phone, the lady who valet my vehicle found the keys in her pocket after all that. Oh did I mention I had already asked numerous times that all the valet attendants check their pockets for my keys, which they replied they didn't find.
In addition to all of that (there was more dysfunction, but I'm tired of typing), they didn't want to accept responsibility and couldn't seem to understand my frustration. They were unprofessional and lacked proper training on so many levels. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I surely hope the new ownership and management team re-evaluate their very flawed system; otherwise, they will not be in business very long. Based on the comments made by other guests and their dissatisfaction with the lack of quality service, I don't forsee this place being open very long. To sum it up, WOW!!!!!!!
