Lahania Shores Hotel, Lahaina

Let me start by saying nothing is as described in hotel description. When we first got to the hotel it seemed not very well maintained and out dated. They gave us they key to our room and when we got to our room we were astonished. We actually wanted to get our money back and try to check in to another hotel. They showed us three rooms not a one of them had any updated features like tvs fridges bed furniture NOTHING. We had a VCR this should say it all about how out dated this resort/hotel is. In the room there is a old 20 to 25 inch color TV. They said there were all 27 inch flat screen tvs in the rooms. The fridge barely kept our food cold. The bed was old and soft and to mention the bites I was getting. There must have been bed bugs because the bites would show up in the morning. We never thought about it until it was to late. I have stayed in Maui for the last Seven year from the Sands of Kahana, The old Maui Islander, Napili shores and this is by far the worst hotel ever. I have hotels at home that rate to this hotel and they are about 15 bucks a night. There is no morning coffee in the lobby. They constantly want in the room to do maintenance. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying. My wife and i paid a lot of money to stay in what we thought was a 4 star hotel/ condo and we had nothing but problems. What a waste of money on this hotel

went to maui for the first time for the hole seven days for the labor day weekend had stayed at other resorts for two or three days with the fancy names my travel agent made the wrong reservations to the lahina shores but it turned out to be a very nice place to stay loved it will be going back next year

We were in Maui for Christmas 2008 and were totally happy with our stay at Lahaina Shores. The location was perfect, within walking distance to town. Right next door was a great bar, 2 great restaurants and a small store where you could purchase just about anything. (at a price) We stayed in Room 402 and couldn't have been happier. We had the best of both views, because we were in a corner room. The condo was clean and well decorated. Did I mention location?? This place is reasonable compared to other hotels/condos in Maui. Sure it doesn't have the glitz of some of the other places, but if you are looking for affordability, this is the place. I would definitely recommend Lahaina Shores to others.

I LIKED THE RESORT ALOT WE WENT FOR THE 4TH OF JLUY 07 AND IT WAS AWSOME TO SEE THE FIREWORKS OVER THE OCEAN.THE RESORT WAS REAL CLOSE TO ALL THE RESTURANTS AND PARTY SCENE. I WILL BE GOING BACK IN 4TH OF JULY 08.I'M READY FOR THE A FUN TIME AGAIN. P.S. WATCH OUT FOR THE RAOD TO HANA IT'S FUN BUT YOU HAVE TO HAVE A STOMACH THAT CAN TAKE IT.

My fiance proposed to me this past Sept. while we were in Maui. We stayed at Lahaina Shores and I wouldn't have had it any other way. The view was spectacular and so was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone planning a trip to Lahaina. It is well worth every penny you will spend. The prices are very affordable and the rooms were very comfortable. I especially looooved the kona coffee every morning in my room. It is very easy to find as well, conveniently located right in downtown Lahaina. Close to all he shops and from the bars and restaurants. I loved that fact that The Feast at Lele!!! I give this hotel 10 stars!!!!!!!!!!

We were there from Nov. 28 - Dec. 5th, 2007. I loved the resort. Absolutely beautiful. We weren't sure about getting the Mountain view room, but I am telling you, I will definitely have my room again towards the mountains. It was so calming and beautiful, and peaceful. We sat many nights on our lanai enjoying the scenery day or night. We had a studio Mountain view condo. It was perfect for us. There was only one thing about the beach, it had alot of rocks, but you can walk down the beach to a different area and wallah! There are two people I would like to recognize there in the front office, Chester and Adam. We saw more of Adam. Adam was very nice. Whenever we had a question about the hotel or Lahaina, he was there to answer each and every question. Always eager to help. Everytime we walked in or out of the hotel, he ALWAYS acknowledged us by name. That made us feel very special and cared for. "Great Customer Service" on Adam's part. Please tell him "The Garcia's" said HELLO!!! I can't wait to go back to there. "Loved It." The Garcia's

This resort is fantastic the facility and the staff were awesome I would go back anything the atmosphere is relaxing and intimate and with great shops next door and two blocks away from downtown Lahaina with great restaurants .

We spent our 16th anniversary at the hotel and got an ocean view room. The room was clean and comfortable and the view was beyond what we expected. The walk to the little shops was less than 10 minutes and we spent all day exploring the area and shopping! We also did a luau which was next to the hotel and it was amazing. We had such a great time that we rarely left the area to experience the rest of Maui. Will go back for sure!

I loved that it is nestled in with the locals and just a quick, healthy walk to experience everything from museums, fine dining and adult entertainment. It is also centrally located to quickly reach events in Kanapali and in the other direction-awesome snorkeling! The road to Hana was spectacular and the resort was just the place to be after such a drive. I would recommend it for first timers in Maui and for anyone that has not experienced the "TRUE" local hospitality and culture of the beautiful people found in Maui.

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights. Very quiet place. Walking distance from Front street night life. Rooms are clean and spacious. Very nice kitchen with full size fridge and stove. Walk out the back gate and you are literally on the beach. Only thing it's missing is a bar for after dinner cocktails. Great price too!
