2 reviews for Best Western Apalach Inn, Apalachicola
very overpriced
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/12/07
We could not get wireless internet as promised...they said something about a storm...which really meant a light rain falling. The beds were uncomfortable, with hard, cheap mattresses. The rooms smelled funny. The shower was OK, but the showerhead had hard water build up on it which inhibited the water flow. The breakfast was OK. For $92 a night,we felt it was worth about a $60 a night. The next day we travled just a short distance down the road and stayed at the Port Inn in Port St Joe and for a few more dollars, stayed in the Presidential suite..it was awesome! We were sorry we stopped short of it the night before I woulkd not recommend the Best Western...keep going just a little farther, it is worth it!

We'll Be Back!
By Robin, 05/26/07
We spent our honeymoon here and we were very pleased. Our room was huge and clean and had everything we could possibly need. It was quiet and the breakfast was really good! Located near the beach, the river and some great little towns to explore and shop in. We can't wait to return!
