Great Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/3/10
Our room was wonderful, the bed was very comfy and our requested extra pillows were waiting in the room upon checkin. Only flaw was only one bath towel the first night. Otherwise this is a nice resort. The room service meal was on time, hot, and reasonably priced. The main restaurant was being remodeled but our dinner was also well done. We plan to return in the fall.

Resort?? Really?
By azeventdiva, 7/21/09
The Service makes the Value, and this place lacked very much. When we checked in, we were put in the wrong room. We were supposed to be in a suite, and we ended up in a basic room. Got that taken care of, then went down to the restaurant to eat. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated despite the fact that it was slow. As we walked to our table, we noticed that none of the empty tables had been bussed. Once were sat, we were promptly forgotten about. We were there for half an hour before we even got beverages. Our order was taken shortly after, but an hour and a half later, our food still wasn't in front of us. With a hungry 2 yo and a month old baby, we really didn't want to keep sitting there. The only reason we had even gotten the drinks was by us tracking down a manager. We got there at 6:30pm, and left our table with no food at 8pm. As we were walking out, one of the staff flagged us down and finally gave us our food after checking in the kitchen for it and putting it in to go boxes. Needless to say we did not pay for this meal, which by the way was STILL missing our appetizer. We never even received rolls while we were sitting and waiting. and the waitress that got our food for us, was the only one we really saw working all night (not the one assigned to our table). We went back to our room, bought some sodas from the vending machine, and ate in our room after all of this. Then, after 9pm our gift basket, that was SUPPOSED to be in our room when we arrived for our daughter FINALLY came. Mind you we checked in at 4 in the afternoon, and had asked about the basket at least 3 times. We only stayed one night, but that was one too many for this supposed resort. We came to relax from the hot valley for a night and ended up stressed out and irritated. And to top it off, there were no sheets on or to put on the pull out bed for our daughter to sleep on. Just a blanket and a pillow. I would not recommend this resort. I would take the Holiday Inn in Prescott over this "RESORT" any day. I've stayed there as well, and have had no problems, it may not be a resort or have accommodations as nice, but service is everything. Next time I make a trip to Prescott, I will either stay at the Holiday Inn again or at one of the Historic Hotels or a B&B, but never this place again.

Fabulous Birthday Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/18/08
Rooms look exactly like the pictures. Went for my birthday getaway with my hunny. It was very romantic. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious, and the dinner was romantic. We are a pretty young couple, most people treat us like we're kids trying to be adults. The people here treated us kindly with the exception of the front desk clerk. It is conviently located about 5-10 minutes away from everything major in Prescott. It was really beautiful and comfortable. The only down thing, (and it might not be important to all) is the shower pressure was really really low. After swimming in the lake you want to take a strong shower to cleanse yourself, it was sooo low, I had to take a bath just to thoroughly cleanse myself. Other than that it was like a dream.

Great Place
By legalchick, 2/17/08
Just got back today. Booked at their website for $109.00 per night. Nothing bad to sat at all. Rooms do not smell of pets or smoke. Food good as was the service. Beds to die for! Security does walk the lot as I seen them many times at night. Would be nice if it was adults only because many people do not watch their kids and it is next to a casino.

Not worth the money!
I stayed at the Prescott Resort for a conference and couldn't have been more dissatisfied. The front desk took forever to get a clean room for me and could care less that I had to sit in the lobby for 2 hours waiting! I stayed in one of the renovated rooms which are very nice. Went to the Thumb Butte to dine and the service was awful. Took forever to get seated and the person didn't even apologize for the wait. Although the food was good, the service was again awful - no personality! Ordered room service one morning and when I finally got it the coffee was cold as well as the toast and eggs. I couldn't even eat it. Check out was as bad as check in. I've never seen a more miserable staff. The meeting was okay but the food was not very good. I will recommend we select a new location. You can renovate a hotel but without good service it makes for an unpleasant stay.

Front Desk Staff Rude
By ScottK, 12/20/05
Tried to check in at 1:30 PM and was told the room was not ready. No problem, however, the front desk check-in person pointed at the sign and said in a very condecending tone "And check-in is not until 3 PM" Then she did not offer any apology, possible time the room would be ready, or even suggest I could check in and pick up the key in an hour or so. Just not very customer oriented. Hotel does have a nice view, but needs renovation. Barely an average place for the price. I will not stay there again.

motel 6 with a view
By Ann L, 10/10/05
The rooms smell damp. The furniture is peeling and cheap. The carpets in the halls and the rooms are very worn and stretched out and gaps everywhere. The bed is very uncomfortable and you can feel and hear the springs. Bed spread was old and worn. Room service was quick but the food was not good. They forgot my bacon and brought it to the room 20 min after I was done eating. Ate dinner at the Thumb Butte, located in hotel. The dinner and service was very good. Spa and pool were decent.

Small town resort
By chelsea, 5/19/05
The Prescott Resort and Conference Center is a nice hotel to spend a couple nights in. It is not far from downtown Prescott nor from this town's new mall. There is an on site bar and restaraunt, along with a casino that shares the building. The catering for conferences and banquets is very nice. A good location for buisness conferences.
