Taj Krishna, Hyderabad

Someone just have to take down few stars from this so called 5 star hotel. What makes a hotel 5 star? First of all its service, then food, then room comfort, cleanliness, amenities, etc. Food is extremely overpriced for something that is mediocre. Cleanliness, um, we moved the sofa a bit, and it was dirty there...towels were supposed to be white, but they are not, they are icky gray, room comfort is something you cannot boast about. I haven't even started on the amenities yet. They have a beauty parlor. It looks like something from the "Old City" transported into the hotel, ok, that doesn't even justify the description, what I am trying to say is, "AWFUL!" I gave their massage a try, please people save your money for something else. At one point I had enough, so I took my belonging and just moved to Marriott, where they had better courtesy car, decent food, awesome bed, and so much more. So the bottom line is, if you want to stay somewhere like Holiday Inn, and pay like Park Hyatt, then its your choice....

This place believes its press way too much. It is not good. But it is very expensive.The rooms are old and the food is boring. in fact the coffee shop smells like old seafood.

too good to stay, excellent for romance, enjoy able night life, well decorated rooms, good maintenance, excellent room service. good vehicle parking, excellent restaurant facilities.

This place is so overpriced. They think they are at the top of the game. It is not good. We went to the coffee shop and the smell of old seafood welcomed us. We then went to the Chinese restaurant called Golden Dragon. The starters were ok but the main course was all the same taste just a different colour. And the bill was very expensive. I tried to get assistance and the manager dismissed me. I will not go back.

Not what I would necessarily consider a 5 star hotel or a world class luxury hotel. I am staying in the club suite and everything in the room looks old. And the bathrooms do not look spotless and the funny smell doesn't help. The best thing about the place, I thought, was the service. Everyone greets you and smiles and the consistent response is "yes ma'am" even when the answer is no. Decent but not worth the money.

It was amazing. Having stayed at hotels from the Carcosa Seri Negara and the Detai in Malaysia, to the Chateau Marmont in LA and Soho House and the W on Lex in NY, and checked out the Burj in Dubai, this hotel was by far the best.

I have stayed now at 3 different hotels in Hyderabad, and this is the nicest, but also the most expensive by far. Our company has a negotiated rate of $275 per night, but the advertised rate is around $360. You have to make reservations for this place at least a month in advance if you are staying for a week or more to assure you will have a room. The hotel staff was very professional, they seem to go out and hire the best qualified people or give them adequate training to make your stay the most comfortable. The accomodations are very nice and the hotel is spotlessly clean. As a matter of fact when I would go for breakfast and come back to the room, my bathroom had already been cleaned after my morning shower. I eat a large variety of foods in India, and for Western travelers that can't quite adjust to the Southern Indian cuisine this is the place for you to stay. The food is excellent with a large varity of resturants and dishes to suit any taste. You have Indian and Chinese dishes, but can also get a club sandwhich or beef and bacon on the breakfast buffet. Wednesday evening featured all you can eat seafood and all you can drink beer for 800 rupees ($18), and other nights there were Portuguese dishes and other dishes which were all quite good. They have a nice pool (western swimsuits welcome), and you can also get a massage for around $30 per hour. You do have to pay for extra services at this hotel which is one of the negatives. One hour of internet will cost around $5 USD but the speed was good. Drinks are a little costly but a good selection from around the world is available. The hotel location is a little further from the airport than some of the other places I have stayed, but still not a bad distance. Across the street from the hotel is a westernized shopping center with clothing shops, a McDonalds, and a few resturants. The chinese resturant on the top floor corner above McDs was very good and the newly opened night club next door is currently one of the hot spots in town (don't expect to get in as a single).

we like the climate and atmosphere because it is very decent. i ve not stayed there but some of my couligue use to stay there so i came to know about that. my cousin also visited for twice or thrice so he is fully satisfied with ur services. he dont likes any hotel but 1st time he likes 1 hotel taj Krishna

IT IS REALLY NICE PLACE TO STAY FOR COUPLE OF DAYS. THE SERVICE IS ALSO NICE AND ALSO THE FOOD. THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN INDIA.

This place is the pits. The service is woeful and the food is in edible. The coffee shop has no creativity or style and they staff are so elitist
