Inn of the Six Mountains, Killington

The staff was very accommodating...a big thank you to both Sandy & Ed! Had a great weekend-rebooked for next march!

It's kinda dated, and a little shabby but it's typical Vermont. It's definetly not a Hilton by any standards. The people that work there are friendly... I would rate the cleanliness a 6 out of 10 based on the fact that the doorknob to the room was sticky and gooey on the inside that I used toilet paper to open it because it grossed me out. The room itself was clean, the decor is dated. I didnt use the pool but it looked kinda dated and shabby. I would reccomend this hotel for a long weekend, if u want a reasonably priced room with decent service.

We stayed Labor Day Weekend 2008. Rooms were worn, bathrooms were clean. The outdoor pool was green and cold, not useable. The "free breakfast kept running out of food. Would not go back.

The website shows great pictures - and New Life Hiking Spa is part of the facility and it appears you'll have a fantastic and affordable time. I don't know where they got the pictures, but must have been from a few years ago grand opening or something. ALERT -there is nothing NEW and it is the furthest thing from SPA!!!! Don't waste your time. Take the words "RUN DOWN" and apply to every single apsect of your stay - including the staff (who were sparse). I should have turned right around after not being able to inhale a deep breath in the lobby - as the entire hotel smelled like they dumped containers of carpet fresh to hide the dank smell or to make it appear it was clean. The concept of 'Service' seemed last thought of the staff...who seemed to have walked in off the street with dirty t-shirts & jeans - seemed like high school girls that could care less about learning the ropes. I checked into a room with filth - cracked sinks, rickety furniture, stained curtains, old / faded / dingy sheets tucked over the lounge chairs. Windows, screens and window sills were hazy with dirt. Closet doors were broken, filthy beadspreads and shams - even to the touch! Old, old pillows. Bathroom towels must have been at least 10 years old - dingy gray, thin, rough. My shoes stuck to the floors of the bathroom - and the toilets ran for about an hour after flushing! The last thing I wanted to do was use the toilet or walk barefoot on the carpet. Took a shower and disgusted by the slime and mold in th shower. Moved into a new room with same issues - plus a mattress that had a big ole dip in the middle. Looking out the window of the rooms proved disappointing as well - all kinds of tools and pipes and yellow insulation spongy stuff that was disgusting looking as well) were strewn about. Figured maybe I could deal with it - since most of my time would be spent outside. BUT, dinner proved a challenge I didn't want to experience another 6 days in a row. Great looking food, but COLD. For a table of 10 that needed hot water for tea - they'd brought one caraffe for 3 cups of tea ... and it took another 30 min. to get more and low and behold, they only brought one more 3-cup caraffe! I'm all for casual - which this place was, but clean and professional for $140/night (even $99/night) isn't too much to ask. Liked — The drive through VT to get there. Disliked — Absolutely unfit for guests.

Hotel was in a great location to all skiing. Rooms were very spacious but somewhat dated in decor. I would consider staying at the Inn again.

We arrived at Killington in January to find this wonderful beautifully lighted inn located as the name indicated in full view of these beautiful snowy mountains. Ample parking, excellent & friendly staff, cozy lounge areas with enormous fireplaces to cozy up to. Nice restaurant conveniently located at Inn (great breakfast). Lovely heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. Inn is located on Killington Road, conveniently close to other great restaurant, bars, little shopping and close to all ski resorts. I can't say enough, it's a romantic little getaway place and kid friendly if you're with a family. Very charming.

Have stayed at the Inn several times on ski trips. Bar has limited hours but more than ample for our group. Close to other attractions if you need to stay out to the wee hours. Close enough to the slopes and shuttle service is above average. Rooms are large, food for dinner and breakfast is very good although not gormet, if that is what you want. Pool and whirlpool(inside and outside) are great after a day on the slopes. Ski lockers are convenient and secure.

Excellent service. Nice and clean room. Very convenient location. Affordable price.

I just wanted to let you know that I was disappointed that noone told us when we reserved for sunday night that there was that the restaurant and lounge were not open. We went to the market and ended up eating in our room. We were looking forward to a meal being served to us. We also did not know that there would be fans in the room as opposed to air conditioning. Otherwise we really loved the look and feel of the inn and enjoyed the walk around the golf course. It is beautiful there however I am not sure we would stay at that inn again.
