Western Royal Hotel, Tillamook

My Husband ans I travel alot we use motel all the time. So we have had many bad ones but this room was the best ever. The staff was great I called and they was right down to change the battery in the smoke alatm as it was beeping. The room was super clean. I will return n3ext time in town also very fast wifi service to for my business.

My family and I stayed last July and took over 9 rooms. The service was absolutely wonderful and we now plan to return there every year as we had such a comfortable stay. The mini suites are especially nice. I would refer this hotel to anyone close to me.

I called to make reservations and inquired about Wifi because I was on a business trip. The girl (no adults here) took my reservation w/o a credit card number to verify my room. When I arrived guess what? No wifi! She said, "Some of the rooms on the back side of the hotel get it, but it's not guaranteed. There are no rooms available on the back side of the hotel." Huh? I wasn't here because of the wonderful view. I needed to work and couldn't upload my reports without getting online. No problem cancelling this reservation. I just walked out. I went down the street to the Shilo (no problem getting online in my room) and stayed there. Next time I might try the Best Western.

This is a better than average small town motel. The room was clean, the staff helpful and we had a comfortable stay. The motel is close to beach activities and the normal small town shopping

Whatever you need they provide. I dont think theres anything I disliked!!! The mini suites are really great for extended stays!! Well it could use a pool or a hot tub though!! Thats all that its missing.

I am a 10 year returning visitor. I am an avid fall chinook fisherman. I stay here 1-2 times a week September thru December. The only problem is I cann't get to the tv remote before my son does! "The Mole Man"

I don't know if its me but it seemed like the staff were on drugs and I don't mean the kind that would make you lazy and have the munchies. Don't get me wrong, the people were nice.

Conveniently located off Hwy 101 - but quiet! No unpleasant "cow smells" like a few of the hotels up the road a mile - unless you are looking more for the 'all natural experience"! The room was actually much nicer than I expected! IT appeared to have been recently renovated. There was a separate bedroom with privacy door. Sink and vanity were conveniently located outside of the actual bathroom/shower - for families, this is a plus for a faster traffic flow in the morning. Nice clean rooms - not overly large, but of suite quality. There are not bells and whistles (exercise room, pool, etc.) so look elsewhere if you are expecting more than just a motel room. Their main sign was in need of repair - so it made initial impressions questionable. But the rooms were nice and quite. Office closes down at 10:00pm. But a lock box is available if you are arriving late. The only thing that actually disappointed me was the breakfast!! Other reviewers had claimed how good it was. I like to plan hotels around that point for our family when traveling. There was NO breakfast area to eat - basically plop your stuff on a tray and take it back to your room. This in no way was comparable to "continental breakfast" such as Comfort Inn/Suites, etc. Only basic continental stuff - small packaged pastry rolls, two choices of dry cereal, small packets of 'instant' cereal, cartons of milk, orange juice. No fruit. But - overall was good - just not as good as others had stated.

This place is a wonderful value. Clean rooms, wonderful staff. Love that it is super pet friendly, great get the day started breakfast. Total value for the price, we will be back!

loved the breakfast ,will tell all my friends that travel that way and we will be back next year,thanks so much for all your help and great directions on seeing the town and sites.
