Disappointing , Won't Be Back

Read the customer reviews. They said it was a great place to stay. Went on the Travelocity website to book a reservation. Arrived at the hotel after finally figuring out how to get there from the freeway. The previous road was removed and replaced with a new one which made access very confusing. The desk clerk told me they didn't appreciate using third party for booking reservations and that I should have picked up discount tickets at a travel center. After putting up with her complaints, we went to our assigned room. Opened the door to a citrus ,overpowering aroma. Went back to the front desk and was told all the rooms were like that and to let it air out. Everything in the room felt damp from the humidity, even with the A/C going full blast. There was no working bathroom exhaust so when the shower was used, everything steamed up and added to the overall room humidity. Bathroom floor was dirty. The room curtain, covering the window ,was full of holes that compromised privacy.
There was however, plenty of bathroom towels, a Ihop and Outback resturant across the parking lot.
Would I stay at a Comfort Inn again ? No, No and No! ! Nor would I take to heart all the glowing customer reviews.
