Gorgeous hotel, disgustingly rude staff.

Upon arrival the hotel looked like a winner, especially after the hurricane. Sadly, almost every person employed there lacked kindness, consideration and what seemed - any desire to keep their job. Thankfully I brought a large water bottle along that I could refill throughout the day, because forget ever being served a glass while dining in one of the TWO restaraunts. Do NOT be fooled, they consider a poor little snack bar, hosted by glaring "cooks" as a restaraunt. The first morning I woke up to get in a quick work out, and found that their "gym" is actually 3 broke down machines from the first production of all exsisting work out equipment. The second night I could barely sleep with the "show" that was going on out by the pool. The most disappointing ammenity was by far the "beach". After walking through a tunnel to get to the other side of the road, you are greeted with an over sized sandbox and no safe way to jump in for a quick swim, ESPECIALLY for children. This leaves only the "largest pool in cozumel" for a nice swim, but if you want a skin disease jump right in! I saw a pool boy cleaning the pool once in 7 days. The rest of the days we witnessed cups, debris, even toilet paper resting at the bottom of the pool. If you want to snorkle, bring your own equipment, I wished to snorkle one day and they had flippers that would only fit size 10+ men, nothing for a woman. If you're interested in the tennis court, dont be. It actually doesn't exsist. If this hotel were located in the U.S, it would surely be sued by false advertisement. Thank goodness the rest of the Island was worth seeing, otherwise this trip would have been a complete bummer.
