Hampton Inn Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg

Visiting family in Harrisburg, we searched pet friendly hotels in the area. After speaking with Hampton Inn rep over the phone, I was made very comfortable with their pet policy. It is located right off the main highway and is in a corporate park setting-peaceful! Upon arrival, my first impression was how manicured the property was and equally impressed with the lobby. The layout had a real home like feel (eating area with TV in sight, library area and free internet area. Lots of services readily available to the quests. The hotel is just not pet tolerant, it is very pet friendly. The hotel has a dog trail and it is lined with bushes of fragrant flowers. Our room was very nice. The most comfortable bed and pillows I ever had. Our room was clean and did not smell like pets were ever in there before us. The shower head is amazing! I spent one night, but will definitely return for a longer stay. You will not be disappointed in the friendly service, clean surroundings and amenities this hotel has to offer.

Clean rooms, free fast internet, free breakfast. You just cannot beat a hampton and this was no exception. Short drive to Harrisburg from the hotel. Mechanicsburg is also very nice, lots of railroad history.
