Super 8 Motel Traverse City, Traverse City

The power was out for several days, I had to stay at a local hotel for a few days. I first stayed at the Super 8 Motel. Let me tell you looks are deceiving when it comes to this shack. I got to my room and I felt as if I was back in the 80's it smelled that way too. I pulled the comforter back to make sure the sheets were clean and realized that they to hadn't been changed since the 80s as well. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and there was a bar of soap (USED) in the shower, and pair of mens undergarments behind the door. I was not impressed. I went down to the front desk to check out, all I wanted to do was get out of there. I went round and round with the general manager about checking out! She wasn't going to refund my money, then when I told her to look at the room, she was going to charge me a cleaning fee! I was appauld because the problem was the room wasn't cleaned to begin with and then she was going to charge me to clean it. She tried to give me another room and what I seen in that room was worse then what I seen in the first room. I went back to the desk and had to demand that she refund my money or else. I would never curse those conditions on anyone not even my worst enemy. I left and checked into the Sleep Inn, Acme. Now thats a hotel!
