I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!
I will never come to this hotel again!!! I had prepaid for two rooms when I bid for a hotel via Priceline and this was what I got. When I checked in, Mark, the front desk personnel, stated that he can only find one room under my name. He would not accept my itinerary, confirmation #s, etc. and said that he can only go by what is in the system under my last name. What is the use of a confirmation number? Instead of being proactive in resolving this issue, I had to use my cellphone minutes to call Priceline. After all the transferring and holds, they called up the hotel and spoke with Mark directly and even faxed him a printout of my prepaid itinerary. There was no apologies and all he can do was shrugged and said, "I can't tell you who did it, but all I can say was that we screwed up". What happened was that when I called to confirm 1 month ahead of time, the front desk lady that handled my call the evening of 04/29/10 accidentally deleted one of my rooms. There was no compensation for the hassle and the general manager, Steve, was not on location. 4 hours later when it was time to check in, none of our rooms were ready. When we finally got a room, our tiolet was flooded and we kept on having to use the lobby's restroom. The whole experience was just horrible and if it wasn't for my family's calmness, my trip would had been ruined from the start. P.S. The so called "free shuttle" that takes you from the hotel to the beach just happened to be out of batteries while we were there. Coincidence? I don't think so.
