Wish we could go again soon!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/10/10
I loved that it was a suite and not just a room! King bed was very comfy. The staff was very friendly & helpful; recommending restaurants. Mr. Florida at the front desk stay on the phone and explained very patiently how to become connected to the internet. I did the managers reception two of my four nights and was quite happy with it: my four year old loved the popcorn the most! Breakfast was great everyday: the staff was helpful and friendly too! The highlight of our stay was when Dennis asked my son to feed the ducks & fish after he ate his breakfast. Then the next morning Dennis returned and thanked my son for helping to feed the ducks/fish and gave him a goody bag of snacks and a duck key ring which he cherishes. A happy child makes for a happy parent. I have recommended the hotel to many since returning home.

We enjoyed our stay
By DANIEL and LISA, 6/8/09
The rooms were redone since the last time we stayed (begining of 2008). The place was beautifully maintained and well worth the price. I booked 4 rooms- 1 for myslef and three for my relatives adn everyone was happy. We all were able to sit down and have breakfast together in the morning. The managers reception was lovely. The only downside was the amount of kids in the pool at night. I am not sure were all the parent's were but they certainly were not with their kids. The god side was that as soon as 9pm came the management made sure all the kids were at of the pool so the adult had some nice quiet pool time. My two girls really loved the ducks, Benjamin and Betsy-- they had fun looking of rthem all weekend. We will be sure to stay here again when we are in the area.

Hotel room has rats. Please stay away.
By Guest, 1/26/09
On January 25, 2009, I checked in at this hotel and was assigned room 510. I was watching TV in the living room and saw two different rats running around. The room was well lit but these rats were not scared. I complained to the front desk and was moved to room 411. This room was smoke infested. A very poor job by the cleaners. I spoke to the morning supervisor and he showed no care. This is the worst Hilton run property.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
By Karen, 12/7/08
Love the location - very convenient. Have stayed at Embassy Suites many times over the past few years, but this time I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! The hotel was totally unprepared for Army/Navy weekend - one of the biggest of the year for Philadelphia. People SCREAMING off the balconies at 2 a.m. - nothing done about it. Manager's Reception left a lot to be desire - broccolli, carrots, cheese and crackers. Best of all - hang on to your glass because we don't have enough to accomodate our guests! Breakfast was an absolute fiasco - How can you begin breakfast at 7:30 am on a weekend where a major sporting event starts at noon. I especially felt sorry for the cadets staying there that had to be on the bus by 8 am - didn't even get a chance for a decent breakfast. For my $239 I could have stayed elsewhere, gone out for dinner and drinks and STILL saved money. I'm not planning on staying at this particular hotel again - very disappointed. I must say, the room was clean and comfortable - that's about the only positive thing I can say. The manager and higher ups need to take a good look at their policies and make temporary adjustments if they have to if they want people to stay competitive with the other major hotels in the area - especially on Army/Navy weekend! SORRY - I DON'T THINK I WILL BE BACK; AND I'LL CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMEND YOUR HOTEL TO FRIENDS OR RELATIVES.

DON"T STAY HERE UNLESS YOU READ THE REVIEWS FIRST
By gurl906, 7/16/08
I didn't like the fact that when i got to my room, the toliet was not clean so we had to call downstairs for them to clean the toliet, after half a day my keycard was deactivated, we had to call down for them to bring us clean towels and a change of sheets because no one change the sheets on our beds. I see why the hotel is cheap and no i would not recommend this hotel.

Not up to par with most Embassy Suites
By Myers, 3/18/08
I stayed here while on a business trip and was thoroughly disappointed. I chose the hotel because it was close to the airport and I usually like Embassy Suites. A large number of the guests were locals that use the hotel and its amenities like an amusement park. They use the rooms for parties and invite all of their friends, families, etc. to use the pool and abuse the free perks the hotel offers (free breakfast, free evening drinks). There were a ton of kids running around and in the pool that were obviously not staying at the hotel. When the evening cocktail reception started, the floodgates opened and people came pouring into the hotel for free drinks. The staff blissfully served free beverages to all of them in spite of the fact that they clearly were not hotel guests. The hotel is dirty and run-down and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, safe place to stay.

PARTY!!!!!
By memmerrill, 4/12/07
I suppose this Embassy Suites is so cheap because if you drive anywere but to the airport or the freeway you are in ghetto town USA. Staff was great, breakfast typical, we had a screaming banchee shower head which was fixed lickety-split. Only one chief complaint . . . we went on a weekend where everyone and their cousin, great aunt, second cousin and third cousin twice removed were there. Simultaneous weddings and reunions, so everyone invites their neigbhor kid to swim at the hotel and eat the breakfast. On a bright note, the kids had lots of fun at the pool, although after counting close to 30 people in the pool at one time my wife and I decided it would be good idea not to take a swim. But, as hotel complaints typically are, it wasn't the hotel, just the people staying there. Heck, maybe someone complained about the "too quiet, keep to themselves, couple" yours truly. Enjoy your stay!

Loved it BUT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/1/06
We checked in late and the room still wasn't ready. The main problem was I was supposed to get a senior discount (the room was supposed to be 139.00 and we paid 159.00. my agent told me when we came home that they knew I am a senior and the discount was already in the computer. by the time we got there i was so exhusted i did not pay attention to the price. i hope this letter reaches the hotel as tyhey need to pay more attention to people when they check in.
