Shilo Inn Suites Hotel Nampa, Nampa

Motel was run down and shabby. Carpet in room was so incrediably filty I can't believe the Health department has not closed it down! You would be better off sleeping in your car!

a/c was noisy, the dead bolt was broken on the door. housekeeping was rude. accidently came in our room before knocking. there was hair in the bathtub. the floor wasn't very cleaned. the hairdryer was not great shape. the hotel was bad. the bed was uncomfortable, i wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed 7-14-08 to 7-24-08 Our stay was very pleasant, the room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were all very friendly, we got vouchers for breakfast at the Elmers right next door, they offer complementary popcorn, fruit, cookies, and expresso machine in the lobby, they have a computer in the lobby we were able to use. The kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool. I would stay there again, it was an enjoyable stay. The location was very good for where we needed to go each day.

This was a pleasure/business trip and we mostly enjoyed the friendly service and the positive attitude of all of the staff. This extended to each member of the family.

We spent two nights last weekend at the Nampa Shilo Suites and were very disappointed after staying at other Shilohs on the coast. Our room had numerous stains on the carpet probably due to their allowing dogs, the bathroom floor was not thoroughly cleaned, and the bedding was worn and gave us the creeps. In addition, the halls and elevator were not air conditioned which became a major problem when the old and very slow elevator door failed to open for several minutes in 100 degree heat. Having an ice machine on the first floor only is ridiculous! To top everything else off, the stench from the sugar beet factory seemed to permeate everything inside and outside our room. Luckily we only had to spend a few hours each night in our room since we were attending a family reunion. We do, however, feel cheated after having to pay $201 for our stay and will never stay in a Shiloh again. I would be very surprised if they have not received similar responses. We were so pleased to stay in the Yakima Oxford Suites on our return which was modern, clean and less money.
