nice place to stay

I chose to stay here due to proximity to location of my conference in St Louis Park. The room was quite nice. The breakfast was very nice, but my biggest surprise was the free weekday dinners, including free wine, beer or soda. The parking is free and so is internet. The pool and fitness facilities that I had access to was adjacent but run by the city, and the hours are quite limited. There is a large playground for kids, but it is $6. The hotel is close to airport and mall of America and lots of eateries nearby. I got a bargain online, so I was quite pleased. The room was clean, spacious, had a stove and refrigerator and was quiet. I will stay here again and recommend this hotel. I give only 4 stars due to the pool and exercise facility set up.

Great time

We had 3 suites reserved for 5 families. The rooms were a little tight for the groups we had, but we had a lot of kids. The people were super accommodating and friendly, breakfast was amazing with waffles, sausage, potatoes, cereal and the normal fare. We were looking forward to the inside playground on Fri eve but was not available because of a wedding and would have been nice to know that before. We did get to the playground on Sat morn but was informed that it was $2.50 per kid to enter, which was well worth the price, we found out.

Great for family fun

Clean and convenient with friendly staff. We have been back for 4 years and will still go back in the future. The attached jungle gym, sports gym, pool, and indoor park are great for kids. We invite friends and their kids to come visit us. We also like the morning buffet breakfast and weekday dinner and happy hour. One concern is that pets are allowed and fleas could be a problem in the hotel room. If there is, see if you can ask for another room.

My Best Hotel Experience...

Check-in was fast and friendly, the room was clean and spacious (nice to have a seperate bedroom and kitchen), the breakfast buffet was so much better than I expected with eggs, potatoes, french toast plus all the regular stuff, the dinner was always good, and saved us tons of money, and the best... the play area. My almost-2-year-old LOVED it and we spent hours in there since it was 95+degrees outside. I will always be choosing this hotel everytime I'm in the Twin Cities!

Typical Marriot - excellent

Rooms were comfortable/roomy. Drivers were very friendly and helpful. Was surprised that fresh baked cookie was not free. Is in other hotels. Location was convenient to airport. Will probably stay there when returning to go to the Mall Of America. Good Italian restaurant across the street. Other restaurants close by.

Great rooms, excellent service, friendly attention to all our requests, always clean, wonderful location. Perfect!!! more if you have kids, fullfil all our expectations and went further. Surely we will camoe back

We'll be back!!!!

My husband & I stayed at the Residence Inn over our anniversary weekend for 2 nights and we were impressed!! We booked a studio King and our room was great. The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere in the suite was very warm. Staff were very friendly and professional and we were greated the whole stay with a smile and a greating. Location was wonderful. Close to all the sites and the free shuttle to the airport and the mall was great. The shuttle worked around your schedule and we did not have to work around their schedule. The indoor park next door that is part of your stay was unbelievable. Never seen anything like it and we were impressed by this feature. Pool, exercise area and running/walking track was great. The play area was wonderful. The free breakfast each morning was great. Had everything from eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, fruit, cereal, etc....never seen such a layout. They also serve dinners during the week. This place has a warm feel to it and I even signed up for the rewards program because I will be coming back. Check-in was fast. They even had a bottle of wine sent to our room when they found out it was out anniversay as a gift from the hotel. Check this place out!!
